Weare the same Osc!! I keep thinking each week - nothing's really happened! Bit slow....
So I went for a walk this morning, into Durham, parked up and walked through St Oswald's church, and then along the riverbank, over Prebends Bridge to the cathedral hill. The cathedral itself is absolutely awesome, and I use that term 'properly''
Just the architecture and the ambience when you are inside....it's undergoing a lot of refurbishment at the moment, the North tower has been 'wearing its hat' for a couple of years and can be seen for miles around! Today they are renovating the famous main door, so access was through a chapel door....sad to see so much needs doing to it but glad to see it's being done so carefully. So - approx 11K steps by the time I gt back to the car, and via a lovely little secret garden for a well earned latte!
This pm I have put a new border along the bit where the garden path meets the soil/garden, took a fair bit of sorting without the right tools! But it looks well now
And of course I have managed to have a few minutes sitting in the sunshine
So busy day - plenty to keep me occupied!
Hope you have all had good Sundays x
