More sad news

Aunty Rose rang this afternoon, my Uncle Len has died He was the brother between Rose and mum in age. He'd been ill with lung disease for a long time, but in the end passed very quickly. He'd just nipped to the bathroom, but when he didn't come back down my Aunt C went up to find him, and he was dead in the floor. Heart most likely.

I have a lot of fond childhood memories of him, although I didn't see him much in recent years - the last time was at AR's 80th last year. Mick will take a day off for the funeral, as I'd like to pay my respects.

Saundra, that is strange! Yes, she loves it there, especially as my cousin and his partner are so close by now, in their new build. It's ideal for her really, and ideal for Richard too, as he hasn't got to travel a long way to visit, like he used to. Rose gets on well with Nikki, his other half, so it's all working out well, and thanks for thinking of her
