Good morning.

Flippn hot. 8-)

A swim, coffee then walking into town for a few bits.

Back to lazing by the pool until my hair appointment at 5.30 which will entail another walk into town.

Pre-weekend beers tonight in Jose's.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool and windy :?

Walked down the drive, to prop open the gates and wished I'd taken a cardi

Nelson coming up early to sort out the pool pump, before he opens his shop, so kind of him :D

After breakfast, we're off to Ourique, to get some compost - from Nelson :D - collect the marble for the window sill. get my prescription and also pop into both Alentejana and Pingo, to see who has water. None was available when we went in earlier in the week :o Which is a bit bizarre as most people here have to have bottled water.

Back for Grumpy to finish off the floor tiling :Hi: :Hi: Then he has to do the skirting, so lots of cuts

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Dull and drizzly on and off. Showers forecast for the morning, brightening up later. Don't know if it's likely to be enough to water everything.

Did nothing yesterday, no energy at all. Must be patient.
Nothing planned for today, will wait and see.
Hope you all have a good day

Hope you can find some water Jan! :?

Hope your energy improves later Di xxx

I'm off into town in a while, to pick up a prescription. Then up to see D, and finally home later this afternoon, to start the mountain of ironing! :cute: Pilates tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning All

Jan, your weather does sound rather mad; it can't make up it's mind.... hope the wind dies down though; you really really need some quiet so the fires don't get fanned more than they already are :( Hope you find water - wonder if a lot of it is being sent to the bombeiros so not quite reaching the shops?

Ally, enjoy the pool when you get to it

Kaz, at least it's cooler for your pilates (and ironing) - enjoy the day

Just take it easy Di and don't put pressure on yourself. You need time to recover from the treatment. (((hugs)))

dull here and drizzling; but as Di says; not sure it'll be enough to water what needs water. It's such fine drizzle that I don't think it'll penetrate the ground all that much. But if nothing else it's cleaning the dust off the tree leaves and I'm sure they're quite happy about that! :D

Usual / usual for me again today

Have a lovely day all x

That sounds a lovely day ally. Grumpy is a handy lad isn't he Jan? We've had a bit of rain too Di but I think we need a lot more yet. The ground is still very hard. I hope you pick up a bit today. Kaz, MrsC actually likes ironing! Ria, some of the trees here are starting to look autumnal through lack of rain.

We have a BT engineer coming out to fix our crackly landline so have to stay in for him. MrsC to her dad's then we need a bit of shopping.

Quite cool here atm - more like our usual summer, lol!

Ally! I've just noticed that your ticker's rapidly counting down!
BTW! Billy has that doggy water bottle that you posted a few days ago too, although his was from Poundland

Good morning all, it's much cooler here this morning, it's so much better :D
I've walked Billy, the route he decided in was very random this morning. I suspect that we've been following the scent trail of a rabbit for 4 miles

I'm just having coffee now before starting on some housework, I need to waterbthe garden first though; we had quite a bit of rain yesterday afternoon but you wouldn't have known if you hadn't seen it happen

Love to you and the family Kaz x

Have a good day all!

I know Jo! :o :o

David whapped me yesterday to say we must meet up to make plans...but my diary is full until next weekend.

He's also working crazy hours due to the earthquake in Indonesia and various other disasters worldwide. :o

I can see us meeting up the night before we go!

Good morning all, it's a lovely morning here. I've a lot to do organising our stuff for an early start tomorrow on our way to Blackpool plus I need to go and have my fringe trimmed. Some ironing this afternoon, I think, so there is not too much waiting for me when we get back on Sunday evening. Earlyish to bed tonight as we need to be at the airport around 8.30am tomorrow.
