A quick swim then dashing into town to get a few bits I need for tomorrow.

Then a quick visit to Decathlon for some hiking socks.

David's coming round at 11 to help me pack my rucksack - or as he says, to make sure I don't pack stupid dresses.

A spot of lunch somewhere once that piece of hilarity is finished.

I'm sure there's more to do but I can't remember.

Bb isn't working till later, so we may go for a little drive to Hythe for a wander and coffee.

Rather warm

Watering done and we seem to be inundated with screamy touristas Next door have a new lot, the wooden cabin has Portuguese and they're always loud and the cottage up the hill has even more And they like playing rather loud music at 3.00am

Exciting Ally make sure you sneak in at least one dress

Grumpy to do yet more tiling - the end is near but it seems endless. Not sure what I'll do, maybe plant some cuttings, maybe not.

Shortly we are taking FiL for his appointment at the eye clinic. It's not pleasant for him as he has to have an injection into his eye (he has macular degenration). But it is necessary to stop him losing sight in that eye.

Afterwards coffee and cake might feature.

Crommers, your poor FIL Having had an eye op as a child, and many eye exams, I hate having my eyes messed about with, and that does sound nasty xxxx

It's Monday, so it must be Weight Watchers Drizzly weather, forecast to improve later, so what to wear is the usual dilemma for Mondays - ie what will keep me dry enough without weighing heavily on the scales

Good Morning all,
Feel a bit more alive today but still not 100%
Have got to take Don to the health centre in a minute to
see the Cardiac Nurse so better take a couple of Imodium.
She used to come to the house to see him but has altered that
now which is a pity as it was so much easier as I have to drop him
off and then find a parking space and walk back and help him get
to her office.
Fingers crossed he is ok as she has the results of his heart ultrasound
to discuss.

I do enjoy scrunching up the 5 litre water bottles, first thing in the morning Kaz It makes next doors dogs bark, which set off Toby down the road and then that lot in the cabin have 2, which also start barking, then Maria's start…………………...

Apparently, we're having the ceiling done this morning - tongue and groove, stained, on top of eucy logs, in keeping with the rest of the ceilings.

I will be putting a couple or 3 dresses in and a pair of Converse - got to sample the Swiss nightlife.

Lissie, could the cardiac nurse not come to you given you're not well... Not being horrid but if you did have the norovirus I'm sure the last thing anyone would want is for that to be brought into a GP surgery? Hope you feel much better very soon x

Usual / usual for me today - may meet up with Nadine after work but not sure yet. Have wangled a day off tomorrow; it's really quiet here so may as well make the most of it and there's enough to do at home

Ouch for your poor FIL Crommers, that does sound painful says the wuss who had to have a general for my cataracts

Getting ready for the invasion, Z texted to say they should arrive around 11ish. We've got the boys until Wednesday, lots of noise here for the next few days.
