Good morning Wednesday

Good morning.

Had a fantastic flight (Vueling) yesterday and arrived in sunny and warm Switzerland around 1.30.

We went straight to pick the hire car up and they'd upgraded us.

Three hour drive to Lauterbrunnen but first we stopped for a cold drink at a road side place in the most beautiful setting!

Got to the hotel and checked in. It drizzled for a while but still warm.

We have a train booked for 9.30 this morning that will take us up part of a mountain and back down. This is an extra add on as we saw it yesterday and it looked so pretty we just have to do it.

Back to the hotel then to pick up our rucksacks for the 5km hike to the cable car that takes us the 8000ft up to the thrill walk.

Can't wait!

This is a very beautiful place and I'm very happy and lucky to be here. My camera has been used loads!

As I type I can hear the river flowing and looking out there are mountains to both sides.

Just getting light, but going to be another rather warm day

We're doing the boring bits Need more silicone and then food shopping, Going nice and early, to avoid the heat later.

Dull but supposed to be a nice day, yesterday turned out lovely and sunny.

I have odds and ends to do today, have to go to the local hospital to hopefully collect a prescription, then might go into town.

Di, that happened here too with the weather yesterday, and today looks the same. It feels a bit fresher though!

I need to do a small food shop today, I won't be going with D on Friday as she's down in Weymouth at the moment, with the in-laws, so it will be Saturday instead when I get my main shop. Zumba tonight.

Morning all, it's dull here but still warm. We had a lovely day in Lisburn yesterday, lunch, afternoon dancing outside in the town square, then we called to our friend in Newry on the way home. We were expecting a cup of tea but she had a meal ready for us. Home about 9.15, very tired so we went to bed quite early. Today we are going to a funeral about 100km away so will be getting on the road quite soon. Busy busy!

Bright and sunny here

I wanted to walk down to the beach yesterday, but must have moved badly in the night and was too sore so we got the bus. Not a problem as we were able to sit down and watch the boys run themselves ragged It wasn't particular sunny, but it was vey warm so we were able to have lunch at the beach kiosk as planned and of course had to visit Sorbetto. Got back here mid afternoon and the boys watched a movie. They must have been tired after all the running as they slept through till almost 8 this morning unheard of but very welcome

Z''s picking them up this morning before lunch as I have a 1.30pm physio appointment at the hospital. They'll be back for an overnighter next Wednesday.
