Morning Ally, morning everyone

Smokey

Sun trying to get through the smoke cloud and we have some ash around too  Mid 30's today and cooler from tomorrow 8-)

Grumpy doing the pool, I've watered the tomatoes - some are flowering again  :D :D - and I've put some washing on.

He is going to stain more of the inside doors, they're needing more than one coat - how boring that is   You can only see the difference once it's dry

Salad again for dinner, I'm going to risk making chips

Have a good day everyone and keep on fighting Saundra xx

Morning all :)

That sounds like a perfect lazy day, Ally 8-)

More fires Jan? :( We've had a sudden late glut of tomatoes in D's greenhouse :D

Good news on the Saundra thread everyone! 8-)

Much duller this morning, after a beautiful late summer's day yesterday. Hopefully it will stay dry when we go out for the papers 8-) Plenty saved on the player for later - the new Shop Well For Less, and this week's Holby City that I missed while we were away :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

We have lots of fires every year Kaz  And there is normally one or two really big ones. This one is now in resolution, thankfully.

Morning :)
Lovely and sunny again here.
We're going into town, some bags for the charity shop and a bit of shopping.
The dreaded question of what's for dinner, but bacon baguette for brunch, whether we have that in or out.
Hope you all have a good day

We've had a ton of tomatoes too Kaz, MrsC's uncle Jimmy grows them. We give some to our Italian neighbour.

I could really fancy a bacon baguette right now Di. Glad to hear the fire's under control Jan. Ally, you must be really fit.
I'm going target shooting soon and may do some blackberrying as well. There are lots of blackberries but they are all quite small, probably because of the long dry spell.

Chicken for dinner and Test Match Special today.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, chuffed to get the news about Saundra first thing :D

It's warm and dull here, it was sunny when I went out with Billy but the sky in one direction was that wonderful steely blue colour, it looked like we were in for quite a downpour even though there's none forecast.

Anyway, John's gone off on his bike, Joe's sleeping and Tom and Shannon are heading off to Bath this morning for a few days. We walked through the woods last night to the pub, you go straight through the woods for a couple of miles and it's across the road, perfect! It was getting pretty dark as we walked home through the woods though just after 8 so we had to be careful as the paths are uneven. I then made some sausage sandwiches and we sat out on the patio for an hour or so.

It's roast chicken and veg for dinner here Di, I might make an apple crumble too as my Mom gave me some apples that a neighbour had given her from their tree.

Have a good day all!

Kaz and Crommers, we've had some lovely blackberries this year. Some have been so big and juicy. They've been early though, it's usually at this time that they're ready but they've pretty much all gone over now. I looked this morning to see if I could pick some for with the apples but there were only a few decent ones left.

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

So happy to read the update on Saundra.

Nothing much happening here, just the usual lazy Sunday. Roast chicken for dinner with jelly and blancmange for afters.

Hope you all have a good day :D
