The new arch Grumpy formed from the kitchen to the utility looks really good, now it's painted

Collecting our visitor from Funcheira train station at 3.25 this afternoon. Will have a pit-stop at the bar either on the way back or later this evening.

Morning all, it is dull and damp here but no rain at the moment. I have lots and lots to do today, my last full day to myself before we go on Friday. The suitcases will be opened out, maybe even something will be put in them, and I will be working my way down my list.

He'd finished washing the car, went to the car door, as he wanted to clean inside and there were lots of little paws prints, all over the bonnet and windscreen

We're off to the cinema this afternoon, seeing The Equalizer 2 starring Denzel Washington one of my favourite actors. Don't know how we missed the first one, but caught up with it on Sky cinema and really enjoyed it so fingers crossed the sequel is as good.

Good afternoon all, I'm late checking in again.

It's been a bit rainy here today although it's brightening up now and there's a bit of blue showing in the sky!

John's off work this week, you may remember that he was told to take all of this year's holiday in January during the quiet period but he's built up enough days from extra hours and days worked to get a week off (actually he's built up enough for three weeks so they'll come later in the year). Normally he'd do those hours and not take them off but they all decided not to give the main manager anything for free after that. Anyway, he's painting the hall, stairs and landing and I'm responsible for making tea and keeping Bill out of the way

Joe's in college, tonight he's out with his friend who's a girl but not his girlfriend, as he keeps telling us Tom's coming back from visiting Shannon's family down south tonight, they're on a boat in London at the moment.
