Good morning Thursday

Postby Diflower » 13 Sep 2018, 06:33

Morning :)
Cold but lovely and bright and sunny.
Nothing on today, which is quite nice after yesterday.
Not sure if Bb is working today, if not we might go out somewhere.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Di, morning everyone

Trace of mist in the valley, going to be another hot day 8-)

We were going to be touristas today and go to Mertola, but as we discovered yesterday, even walking around Ourique, it was far too hot for that.

So a chilling out day today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

It's the same here Di, bright but proper chilly! I hope you get out somewhere nice later :) xx

Have a good day chilling out Jan 8-)

(((Saundra))) Hope you slept ok, and have a good day today xxx

As mentioned it's chilly here, but it will warm up later I reckon! I'm meeting my friend Alison in town this morning. The Historic Gloucester festival is on, which means lots of places are free to enter, and she has tickets for Bearland House, in Westgate, then we might wander up to the Waterways Museum in the Docks, which has been recently renovated, and usually charges entry 8-) Should be good 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Cold, cold, cold! Well maybe not properly cold but after the hot summer it feels like it. Sunds like a nice day Kaz!

FiL duty soon and baby helping this evening. Daughter has had a couple of words with her mother in law so things are a bit tense there.

I want to clear off for a few days. We've had to cancel our planned Spain holiday (there's £200 I'll never see again) because of hip problems, but I'm having another holiday this year if it kills me. :D

Onwards and upwards! Have a great day all.

Morning all, it's a nice day out there but certainly chillier. I've checked in for our flight to London tomorrow and done a few other bits and pieces. Packing is mostly done, except Mr Osc's jackets which I will leave until the morning. We have the children later today as per, so that will keep us busy until 6ish.

Crommers, that's a shame about your holiday, could you not claim on insurance? Goodness knows, you and MrsC deserve a break with all the running around you do.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, but there are a few black clouds floating around so who knows...…….

What a shame about your holiday Crommers, as Osc says it might be worth talking to your travel insurance peeps.

((((Saundra)))) hope you had a good night, take it nice and easy today xxx

Enjoy chilling with your visitor Jan.

My hip has finally eased off, it's taken almost 3 weeks this time so will be doing my best not to move awkwardly again. The ankle is still painful though, hoping it doesn't play up too much today as we're off out to do the weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's sunny and a nice temperature here this morning.

Tom's baking brownies for a charity bake sale at work, John's painting the hall ceilings and Joe's gone to visit my parents. I walked Billy first thing and I'll take him again shortly. We're going to have our dinner at lunchtime seeing as Tom starts work at 5, that way he's getting a proper meal.

Kaz, that all sounds lovely!

Crommers, I hope that you can find somewhere for a break. You do a lot so you definitely need one. Hope things aren't too difficult for your daughter.

Have a good day all!

Osc I don't think we were covered for that unfortunately. Thanks Jo, we will get off domewhere I'm sure. Sometimes the stress goes with you though. Jen I hope your ankle doesn't play up too much today.

Oh Crommers, what a shame! :(

It's been fun today, looking round places off the beaten track! The city has lots of little passageways with hidden gems! Bearland House is a fine Georgian house, then we found the Folk Museum which is also free of charge during the Festival.

We walked back round the back of the cathedral, past a hidden square that I had no idea was there, even after 9 years living here. Poor old Bishop Hooper was burnt at the stake there in 1555! There is a statue there, on the spot, right by a block of flats! Not sure I'd fancy the karma there TBH :?

A spot of lunch in Waterstones cafe rounded things off nicely! :D
