Late start for us after a late night last night - my liver is saying "noooooo" more wine

So a lazy morning and then Ria is getting the train at 15.52 from Funcheira. We'll pit stop at the bar then back for curry.

Sunny and warm.

I've been for a 10km walk, just about to have a swim then nipping into town to get my hair cut.

Picking the keys up from Raphael tonight and will get the parentals' 'stuff' that they keep at ours all ready for their arrival tomorrow.


As they don't land till 8pm I'll also get bread and milk so's they can have a cuppa and toast if they're peckish.

Hi all. Grey here and it looks to have rained heavily overnight. Shopping soon and it's pizza for us tonight too Di. Daughter may be coming soon with the baby to try and let her husband sleep. Lee was on nights and should have finished at 5am but didn't get done until 7.

Morning all its dull here had a really bad day yesterday couldn't get out of bed neighbour brought me toast /tea and iv a kettle upstairs now slept all day and night it's probably shock and 3weeks in hospital I'm up today missed all the gossip on everyone holidays and stuff must catch up have a good day all. Xx

Did a bit of shopping yesterday and then drove round to the cliff top so we could have a little walk. I never get tired of looking at the sea, so glad we moved here. Not much happening today, bed changed so the sheets are in the washing machine. Depends how I feel later, might get out for another walk.

(((((((((((Saundra))))))))))))) You've had a nasty illness, you need to rest, and rest some more. Is there anyone, a friend or good neighbour, who could pop in a few times in the day to check on you?

So today we decided to have a jaunt off to Barnard Castle, or 'Barney' as it is known locally. It's a gorgeous little market town set on the banks of the River Tees, the pretty bit. There is a castle too - albeit a ruin....I took a couple of pics on FB - the sun came out while we were on a walk and it got quite warm! Coffee and flapjack in Pennys, then a detour home.

Chinese and Strictly tonight - not 'proper' but there's a recap of old contestants which should be good.
