Morning everyone

Well that was a rather blustery and wet night - I had to close my bedroom window because it was too loud.

Di, a very happy birthday to Bb; hope you have a lovely day out. Glad that Plan A is possible - enjoy x
Jan, definitely take it easy - if the temperature is going to be what you posted on FB then that's rather a tad very hot
Jen, good luck with the blood tests and please be careful up on the cliffs if you do go - the wind can pick up again at any time
Kaz, remind me what is Becks getting? Amelia really wanted a snake for her birthday but as Nadine has a phobia of them that was never an option. Then she wanted a spotted gecko which everyone was happy with but in the end she ended up with two budgies and she's over the moon with them - I get to meet them this weekend :D
Ally, have a lovely day catching up with your colleagues and then the tapas evening
Osc, enjoy Venice; I'm loving the photo's on FB

Lovely Friday today - quiet day in the office because most of the 'important' people are away (yay!). Chicken for lunch and then maybe meeting Nadine for a drink after work. She's having her hair done so all depends how long that takes

Have a lovely day all xxx

Good Morning all.
Lovely day here after a very wet and windy night.
All the garden chairs have blown over--I should have taken them in yesterday.
I am having the oven cleaned at 11am. I saw an advert from a small firm just
starting up and the prices quoted amazed me. £10 an hour and expected to
take 2 hours. I phoned up to make appointment and she said they would do
it for £8 hour as an introductory offer!!!! Most quotes I got were about £50
and more. I am interested to see what sort of job they make of it but anything
will be better than the state it is in at the moment.
Have a good day everyone. :D

Change of plan.

As it-s going to be very hot over the week~end, I-m going to do the cleaning this morning, also the curry making, for tomorrows dinner.

Then in the morning, we can get the important jobs done nice and early, then sit in the pool for the rest of the day 8-)

Good morning all, don't know if I'm coming or going this week!

When I walked Billy earlier the sky was clear and the sun was shining, although there was a chilly wind. I hung some washing out when I got home and five minutes later it went grey and started to rain, it wasn't forecast earlier! It's still raining now.

I've got some cleaning to do and we have Shannon coming to stay for the weekend later.

Yesterday was a lovely day, it was Tom's graduation at the really beautiful Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton. It wasn't until 5pm but there were things he needed to do beforehand at the university so we all went over just after lunch and ended up with Shannon and her parents and Jake and his parents in the pub next door to the flat they all shared last year. It was back to the university for a drinks reception afterwards and from there we went to a country pub with Shannon and her parents for a late dinner.

Have a good day all!

A lovely day Jo :Hi: :Hi:

Bit blowy over there then?

Another change to todays plan

Just transplanted a load of yellow pepper plants into bigger pots, batting away the wasps :cute: :cute:

Too hot for cleaning, so I'll sit and supervise the bench making

Grumpy has turned over the veg plot, ready for the winter planting and he decided that a new pallet, which came with our tiles, will do nicely for a bench down there, so that's what he's doing :D :D

We didn't get all of the splinter out, it's festering nicely, but is very very sore

Crikey that can't have been easy work with the weather... but having a bench there will be lovely. Your Grumpy sure is a handy person to have around :D

He did half yesterday morning and the other half this morning. :Hi:

Now rather warm, bench down by the veggie plot and we're heading into the pool 8-)

Bit worried, not seen Molly since about this time yesterday :( She's done this before, gone off for almost a day, but there are still foxes, dogs, boars around.
