Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 25 Sep 2018, 05:00

Good morning.

Hot. 8-) 8-)

New working rota for me this year. Tuesday/Thursday I have 2 morning classes at 9 & 10. Both C1 level so putting into practice all I learnt last year. :D :D

I'll walk into work then walk back at 11. A swim and some food and pootle till work 4- 9. I walk there and back as well so these days will be short, quick bouts of exercise.

My resident chef will have dinner ready for me when I get home. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Dark, but today is meant to be dry and bright.

Ally you did mention changes at work this year, but I kept forgetting to ask what they are.
Don't know what I'll be doing today, will depend on phone calls.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Gorgeous sunrise again :D We should be a couple of degrees cooler today 8-) 8-) we hit 40C yesterday

Hope you will get things sorted today Di xx

This morning I will mop the floors. as faffing around so much yesterday just got too hot. Also need to get the washing done and the spuds cooked for dinner.

Grumpy is seeing the lung doctor this afternoon, so we'll get the shopping done afterwards and then no doubt have a pit-stop on the way back.

Saundra, hope you had a good night and feel better today xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Up at silly o clock as the boiler man is coming to do the annual service and we're due to be his first call

Hope you get things sorted today Di xxx
Jan good luck to Grumpy with the lung doctor.
Hope you had a good night Saundra xxx

I've also got an appointment at the hairdresser, she's been away for the past 8 weeks so I'm well overdue a cut and colour. Not looking forward to it really, it's bound to be even more chaotic than usual. I keep meaning to find another salon, but she does a great cut soooo...……..

Hope you all have a good day :D

40c would finish me off Jan! Hope Grumpy goes on OK at the docs. Di, it is dry and bright here too. I hope it is warmer where you are though, cos it is blinking cold here atm.
Jen, it is annoying when you have to be up at silly o'clock - I hope he turns up on time! Ally, what do you teach? Have a good usual / usual Ria!

MrsC is accompanying our daughter and grand daughter to something called "baby sensory" this morning. This means I am dog sitting Dobby, the world's most enthusiastic dog!

I'd like to get out for a short walk this afternoon, we'll see.

Have a good day all.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, but pretty chilly! Jeans, boots and coat day I reckon! B has her second Tuesday at the Windy Rd branch today, she likes it there :) Noodle is settling in apparently - I will take her word for it :P  Pilates tonight instead of Thursday!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it's sunny here...and there was frost on the common first thing! FROST!!! I was so excited :D

I'll walk Billy again after lunch as John's up north again until tomorrow night and it gets dark pretty early in the evenings now so I'd rather not be out then while there are kids hanging around. Joe's in college today, Tom doesn't have work but he's going to a school in Kings Heath this evening, it's for an event about getting into teaching. He's interested in doing a post-grad teaching apprenticeship rather than another year of university so it's to do with that I think. He's getting the train there rather than driving into Birmingham though.

He and Shannon have booked themselves six days in Berlin at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec. They were looking at going to New York but Shannon can't quite afford it yet as the job she's had, working in a cafe, hasn't provided her with many hours and she hasn't known from day to day how many hours she'd be working or even if she was working at all (the owner opens whenever she fancies, which isn't often) but she starts a new job today in a coffee shop which gives her regular shifts.

Di, I hope that you hear something back from the hospital today xx

Kaz, it's definitely a jumper morning, although should be milder as the day goes on. Glad B's enjoying the different surgery!

Jan, good luck to Grumpy!

I like the sound of Dobby, Crommers

Saundra, I hope you have a good day xx

Have a good one all!
