Good morning Thursday

Postby Kaz » 04 Oct 2018, 06:05

This is your captain ( :P ) speaking, I'm currently cruising at around 30 000ft somewhere over (I think) Croatia :) It was beautiful over the Alps 8-)

Brutally early start, we were at Gatwick before 3am.

Hope everyone is ok this morning :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Get you and your fancy check in :Hi:

Good morning all, it’s dull here but forecast to be quite warm later. I’ve got a bit of a cold but me and the boys are off for our flu jabs this afternoon.

Joe had some good news yesterday, he got the job at Tesco which he interviewed for on Monday. He was given the choice of interviewing for a job in the health and beauty dept or collecting trollies so he picked the trollies. He gets firm hours every week, he’s had hardly any shifts at McDonalds. He had his performance review the other week (he brought his copy home) and it was excellent so it’s not because he’s not working well. He was at work when we were at the meet up in early July and texted me to say that the rest of his shifts that week had been cancelled and he didn’t get another shift then until the start of September and he’s only had five since then.

Thoughts are very much with Di and Bry today xx

Have a good day all!

Morning Kaz, Jo and everyone

Chilly start again, but warming up to 31C later 8-)

Berlimey Kaz   should nearly there now?

Well done to Joe xx

Sorting out the wood store this morning, need to order wood soon. Last years wood will be taken out and stored somewhere until we get the new. All the bits left over, I'll sweep up and put on the garden.

General pootling is the order of the day, lovely long swim again later. Water down to 26C, so don't think I'll be getting in for too much longer

Have a good day everyone, hugs for our poorlies xx

Morning all, it's quite dull here. Mr Osc is going to play golf this morning and I will be doing some cleaning - we have friends coming for dinner on Saturday and this is the main chance I will get. No children today as we had them on Monday. Later on, Mr Osc has an appointment with a consultant - he has Dupuytrens Contracture in his hand, his little finger is gradually bending in towards his palm. The doctor thinks is it not advanced enough to need surgery but thought it would do no harm to have it looked at. The appointment is 4.30 so we will probably eat somewhere while we are out.

Morning all

a very grey dull and miserable start to the day here.
Kaz, hope you arrived safely; were you allowed to use your WiFi on the flight?
Jo, that's fab news for Joe
Jan, hope you have a lovely pootle day
Saundra hope your order turns up on time
Osc, good luck to Mr O for the appointment, good to keep an eye on it

Usual / usual for me today - Nadine (my SIL) is going to pop in a bit later as she's in London and we're booking our flight to go to Germany to visit my mom end of this month. I was meant to visit my sister but she's now needing to go visit one of her daughters in Switzerland that same weekend so I figured I'll visit mom instead. And Nadine decided she wanted to come as well so here we are... about to book :D

Thinking of Di and Bry xxx

Just coming up to midday here and my #bonkers day 2 part 1 has finished. :D

I've just been out to the wee shop for a can of cold drink and it's like summer. Think we'll be able to keep using the pool till the end of the month. :D

Looking forward to a beer tonight with Don. :D

Afternoon all :D

Lovely warm and sunny here 8-)

Not sure if it's just me, had trouble getting in here, hope this posts.

Thinking of Di today, hope there's some improvement.

Usual weekly shop for us, Thursday seems to come round so quickly.

Hope you all have a good day :D
