After yesterday's scorchioness we have showers forecast today. Bliss. Utter bliss.

Picking mum and dad up around 10 and going to Plaza Mayor. I have 40% discount vouchers for C&A and I'd like some smart black trousers for work so hopefully I'll get some there.

We'll have lunch whilst we're out.

Work 6 - 9.

Good morning all! It's sunny and quite cool here at the moment.

John's just left for work, I don't think that Tom's working today and Joe has college this afternoon. I've got a load of washing on and I really need to do some housework today. I've not felt up to doing much lately and it feels like this cold is on it's way out but the sore throat has started now, that's something I've noticed the last few times I've had a cold; the sore throat happens last.

Thoughts are with Di and Bry xx

Gorgeous morning but chilly. We-ve had the last of the hot weather, we-re now into the warm ish weather

After rather a late night, up late. Grumpy having coffee in bed, I-m off down the bar soon for some rolls.

Waiting for a phone call from the bank / hopefully today / to say my debit card is there. We can then pay for the wardrobe.


Might pop down the bar for a livener later.

Morning all. A nice morning here and not as cold as yesterday. Safe travels Osc. We used to have a C&A in Wakefield, it's now a Sports Direct.
MrsC is off to take her dad to rellies soon. We are waiting for a text from Argos to go through to collect a cot and high chair,either today or tomorrow.

Good morning all, we're up and about a bit earlier today as SIL is collecting us around 10.30. Last minute bits of packing being done, only two days and normally we would take hand baggage for a short trip but golf stuff takes up room I don't feel as sinusy as yesterday, there is a cold lurking and I feel a bit shivery and tired, but I'll be fine. Looking forward to our couple of days, it's 10 years almost to the day since we were all last there, although Mr Osc and SIL have been there since. It will be nice to spend some quality time with Miss Osc. Back home late Wednesday.

I posted earlier, but it mustn't have sent! Oh well, we've had a lovely day exploring Heraklion and then on a tour bus to Knossos, to the ruins of the Minoan Palace, at Knossos, where the legend of the Minotaur in the Labyrinth comes from. It's is the oldest city in Europe, thousands of years BC. We really enjoyed seeing the excavations. Loads of pics on Facebook
