I'm only posting this in the light of losing Di. Just to say how so important it is to tell your loved ones they are loved.

Not that I ever need reminding how important family is....

We picked mum and dad up mid morning - the twins joined us a little while later. My folks knew Conor would be with us but Jacob swapped a shift at work to be with us too. :D

We call dad patrolman man....if I/we say we'll be there at a certain time he's there waiting for us.

The sheer joy on his face when he saw Jacob getting out the car alongside Conor was bliss. :D

Cue going into the apartment and his grandma seeing him....so lovely to see my big 6ft+ lads cuddling their wee 5ft 1 gran.

Anyway....the 6 of us went to mum and dad's favourite eating place.

We had a lovely couple of hours eating and chatting.

As mum was paying the bill (thanks mum!) I heard her saying to dad how happy she felt with us all around.

Us 4 came back to our town and the boys are joining us shortly with our Friday tapas crew.

Let your loved ones know they're loved. Tell them every day. xx

What a lovely day!

Quite often we seem to end up at Mom and Dad's at the same time as Julie and Rog and Dad without fail always says "I love it when we're all together"...and so do I!

We were at my cousin's wedding a couple of weeks ago and some our family there (me and John, Aunty Dor, Aunty Marion, Uncle Rob, Julie and Rog) all sat around a table for hours chatting and it's not often that we all get together, and have so much time, to all sit and chat and it was one of the loveliest times I've had.

Everyone all together is rare for me,and very special. I am soooo looking forward to our holiday in March, with all three kids, it will be the first time! By the time B and H came along Chris was already grown up!

Interesting to read this. While we were away, SIL was saying that because his parents are divorced, he feels the lack of a “family” home. As his mother won’t even stay in the same room as his father, it means that family occasions for them always have a certain amount of tension generated by the mother. Michael loves it when we are all together, he has a real feel for family.
