Hi all. Many many thanks for all the vibes and good wishes. Eddie came out of surgery and was back on the ward at 11.35 last night. It's been a very stressful three days (started on Friday morning in Pontefract GI) so thanks again for all your support. Eddie says he thinks the surgeon said it went well but that he was a bit out of it with the anesthetic. He texted his mum this morning "I'm alive!" so he's still got his sense of humour. MrsC and his girlfriend Gemma (who has been an absolute star) may go and see him this pm, but they are saying they may discharge him later today so that's all a bit up in the air. He's coming back home for a few days to recouperate. It's his birthday today as well.

I'll post about it on the health board but maybe not today.

It's grey here and not as warm as it has been. I'm off to the dentist this pm, MrsC has taken her dad to his rellies.

That's a shame about Sharron's job Jo, it did sound interesting. I know that Cambridge is hellishly expensive for accommodation though, my niece works there. Jan, at last! Enjoy the toastie! Ally, enjoy the meet up with your folks.

Good luck at the dentist Jan at least you can pay for the pain
Saundra, that did make me laugh! Welcome back to the normal routine Kaz and have a great night at the dancing Cruiser.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it's a lovely sunny autumn morning here, although cool on the hands when I was hanging out washing. I'll be driving Mr Osc to the golf club shortly, as he has to bring his clubs back after last week's trip. Then I'll go to the gym, come home and wash my hair. This afternoon I need to do a supermarket shop, supplies running low as I just topped up locally when we got back last week. Must try and do some more ironing too.

Glad your son is through the op, Crommers, and I hope the recovery goes well.

Pleased your son had his op Crommers and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Back home, just before the rain, which was good, as the driver side wiper fell off earlier    well, the rubber bit anyway. He's trying to get the arm off and a new one on.

Within a few minutes of getting the new card, I'd spent 600€  So that's the wardrobe paid and money in the purse. Gert lush toastie and coffee, also bought me a pair of daps and Grumpy a new pair of trainers

Will have to pay something at the dentist later, probably about half.

Good luck at WW Kaz x

Morning all :D

We had rain in the night, but it's just dull and overcast at the moment.

Glad to hear your son's surgery went well Crommers, wishing him a happy birthday and speedy recovery xx

Bet you were glad to get your bank cards back Jan, nothing like a bit of retail therapy.

Shame about the job Jo, hope something else comes along for her soon.

We need to pop out to the shops for fruit, veg and a few other bits. Nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day :D
