I watch plenty "poll of polls" and they are all over the place depending on which medium they were done for, when and where. Sometimes they are pro EU and on others are pro Brexit. Waste of newsprint.
However, getting back to this independence malarkey. I see today that elected mayors and city regions in England are calling for more devolved powers post Brexit.
No thanks, chaps, you are not pulling that one. We have already turned devolved English regions down. If England is to be split then we need to go the federal route, something like the German version. Each, "land" gets it own elected assembly with real powers: equal across the whole of the UK.
Westminster then becomes the "federal" government, but has to listen to everyone.
