Jan, good luck at the dentist's xxx

That's not good Cruiser, hope they can fix it x

It's brighter here today, which means colder but that's ok :? WW meeting this morning, then lunch and shopping. We got the tree up yesterday, and I finished addressing my Christmas cards, so that's done :x

Morning all, it was nice when I got up but now it is grey and dreary. Mr Osc has an appointment with the hand nurse at midday so we will be off out in a while. He also wants to go to a hardware shop afterwards, but as my tum is a bit dodgy and he has a horrible cold, I'm hoping he might consider postponing that......but I suspect he won't :o We had a lovely brunch with Miss Osc and SIL yesterday, it's always nice to get them to ourselves for a while. The food was fine but the service was poor, not good enough for a supposed five-star hotel.

Morning all and happy Monday. A lovey busy weekend was had and it just flew by

Cruiser, hope they can get the alarm sorted, fingers crossed it's something as simple as a battery running flat and not recharging as it should.
Good luck at the dentist Jan, hope all goes well
Ally, hope you had a lovely yomp
Kaz, you're good with your cards - I haven't even had a chance to think about mine yet; I always make my own so need to find a suitable photo. I did put the tree up yesterday though but not yet decorated. Karl and Nadine were getting themselves a real one so I asked them to get me one as well - so lovely (albeit a bit wonky, but hey). I'll decorate in bits and pieces like I always do so the cats don't show too much of an interest.
Osc, hope you feel better - good luck to Mr O for the hand appointment; how is he getting on?

Board meeting day today so a busy(ish) morning, then another colleague from our US head office here as of midday today and then Christmas party this evening - so for once not a usual/usual for me :D

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're doing x

Good afternoon all, it's dry at the moment although we've had rain, that again hadn't been forecast, earlier.

Tom and Shannon have gone into Stafford for brunch and Joe's just getting up, college is cancelled for today. I'm midway through hoovering. John wasn't too late back from Sunderland yesterday, he got back at around 5. We all sat and watched a Christmas movie after that, Christmas With The Coopers starring John Goodman and Diane Keaton. I'd watched it last year but it's not a bad film.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all :)

As you can see it hasn't taken too long for us to get back into our late morning routine

Good luck to Mr.Osc with the hand nurse.

Hope all goes well at the dentist Jan.

E popped the Oz cards in the post this morning when he went round for the papers, it's the last day so cutting it fine, but it would have been way to early before we went away. He also bought some stamps so the rest can go off later today. So pleased I got them all done before the holibobs. Only had to finish off the round robin letter I send out every year to the cousins we don't see very often. Was also so glad we sorted the decs outside and in too. It was lovely to come back to a Christmassy house, would have been a real chore having to do it all now.

We'll be popping to the small Tesco shortly, desperately need fruit, veggies and the fridge is bare. E managed to get some eggs from our local shop yesterday so we made do with cheese omelette, sausages and baked beans for Sunday dinner

Hope you all have a good day Image

Been a lovely warm day, not as hot as was forecast, but lovely to work in :Hi: :Hi:

And the car is coming back today :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: He managed to repair the starter motor, so that saved us a few bob.

Just waiting for Jan to run me into Ourique. at least we won't have to stop at Pingo for beer/wine/water/potatoes :D
