Morning Ally and everyone

Sunshine and clouds this morning. We've had the expected rain - and high winds :( - a little earlier than forecast, but better when we're in bed than out and about  :)

Off to Ourique after breakfast, to stock up on wine, water and beer. The supermarkets often stop the half price stuff, before holidays, to make us pay full whack, so we'll get them this week, before the price goes up

Back to decide where the roses will go in the garden and plant them.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Have a good one Ally :)

You too Jan, good idea about the booze ;)

It's dry, bright, and freezing here, but that's ok - I love a crisp winter day as long as I'm well wrapped up :) Going food shopping with D, Becky is coming too as she has a day off. Pilates tonight, the last one until the New Year!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Ally, hope bonkers day #2 goes OK
Jan, makes total sense to get the bargains before they disappear. Hope you get all you want and enjoy the rose planting
Kaz, enjoy the shopping and pilates. Lovely to have Becks join you

Well it's been a while but I'm quite happy to say that today is a usual/usual - yay! Nothing planned for this evening so straight home and into my jimjams - bliss!

Have a lovely day all - stay warm xx

Good morning all, it's sunny, cold and frosty here. I love it like that :Hi: The sunrise this morning was spectacular!

There's not much happening today, apart from tackling the ever growing pile of ironing. Tom only emptied his suitcase from Berlin a couple of days ago so there was a fair bit of washing from him! I meant to iron yesterday but then I ended up in a bit of a pickle so never got around to it

About that pickle. I bought John a TV recorder/set top box thingy, because we've ditched Sky and the only thing he was missing was the record, pause and rewind functions. I thought I'd surprise him and get it all set up. Simple, right? In theory it should've been, and I did get it working with a basic set up although it could only find 13 Freeview channels....but we're in a low signal area and have aerial boosters and splitters and all that jazz around the house so it turned out not to be simple at all.
Long story short; I started messing around with it at 4pm, we gave up at 12.45am and John's now waiting for a call back from the local aerial man.

If you need me, you'll find me in the doghouse

Have a good day all!

Morning all. Christine has taken her dad to his rellies. When she gets back I need to do some shopping.
Also Benidorm Dave the carpet man is coming next Tuesday to lay my sister-in-law's new carpet. So she needs to get rid of an old table and chairs before than. The chairs are no problem but the table is heavy, and she lives in an upstairs flat. I can see somebody being volounteered here.
Not a bad morning here but chilly.
I know what you mean about jim jams Ria, these long evenings make it fell like 10 o'clock when it's only seven o'clock!
Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

It's bright, dry and sunny here, but I didn't feel like going shopping with my wife today, so I'm having a restful day.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny, but chilly here.

We decided to split the shopping over two days this week so yesterday it was M&S. Christmas dinner is now in the freezer 8-) Today it's Tesco, want to get as much as possible, the shops will be packed next week so the less we need then the better. I've put a casserole in the slow cooker for tonight to make things as easy as possible.

Hope you all have a good day Image
