Sigh I'm all geared up for Scarlett conning Saturday just had message from j can they come tomorrow because he has to work Saturday so instead of xmas dinner that's in the freezer and me rushing about they are taking me to the pub so that's sorted

Dull and overcast here.

Sad news about your aunt Ria. Particularly sad that she just gave up, as Osc says I'm sure your mum will miss her.

Being taken out for a pub lunch definitely beats rushing around the kitchen Saundra.

We've had a lovely lie in. I have an appointment with the hairdresser, she couldn't fit me in at my usual time so it's not until 1.30pm. Probably means it will be even more chaotic than usual, thank goodness I only go every 6 weeks or so

Turkey ordered There is a new lad on the butchery counter and he wanted to practise his English, so I had to speak quite slowly and then we did it in Portuguese, much easier

Clouded over and quite cool and windy. So idiot next door has lit a bonfire I can't imagine the bombeiros would allow a fire in this wind

Just chatting with Odette down at the bar and she was saying how many people she's cooking for over Christmas. I told her to come to us, there's only us two, so she said we could go down there, two more wouldn't make a difference. How kind is that? But we won't, I'm not a bacalhau lover
