Bom Dia Ally, Crommers e todos

Feliz Natal everyone :Hi:

Supposed to be warm, but a little cloudy at the moment, hoping it will clear and we can eat outside, as planned.

Mitchell coming for our late lunch, turkey going in the oven in an hour and Grumpy has got my cold  He's having a hot toddy at the moment 8-)

Have a lovely day everyone, especially those on their own xx

Happy Christmas all!! :D

We’re having a day at home, we’ll eat when it’s ready! I’m currently the only one up, even Bill’s gone back to bed after yet another sniff around at the presents. Not sure we’ll get out for our traditional Xmas morning walk as it’s very drizzly.

We had a lovely night out last night. Rather than go to the hotel bar around the lane which our neighbour co-owns we went to a pub on the way to town. It’s a proper traditional pub, right on a street corner near a roughish area and the decor probably hasn’t been changed since the 80s but it was lovely. I’ve walked past 100s of times on the way to and from town but had never been in. We’ve found the hotel’s become a bit cliquey but in this place the landlord was chatting, people said hello as we walked in, there was a free buffet and whenever anyone left they came around and wished everyone a happy Christmas with a handshake or a kiss on the cheek. We’ll definitely be going back there.

Crommers, Christmas will be special this year with Eliza!

Much love to Kaz today, and also to Bry xxx

Have a lovely day all xx

Happy Christmas everyone xxx

Goodness knows how Santa got about last night with all this thick fog - can't see the garden gate!

Off back to my sister's in a while to be Uncle Babysitter while the madults go for their meal. Me and the kids will be messing about with plasticine and balloons and just having fun.

Happy day to you all and ((((hugs)))) for those who need one. xxx

Happy Christmas :D :D

Nice and bright here this morning.

We've had a good lie in, just having brekkie listening to Children's Choice on the radio, love it :D The phone's bound to go shortly, will get the veggies done in between chats and then relax.

Wishing you all a lovely Christmas day Image

Aftenoon all, someone rang our doorbell at 7.10am :( and when I said hello on the intercom, a drunken voice slurred "is today Christmas Day"  So I hung up and he rang it again, but then thankfully moved on. I watched him out the window for a little while, he wasn't young, wearing a decent coat and a pull on woolly hat with a Christmas pattern on it. He rearranged some of the furniture outside the pub next door, at which stage I went back to bed! Eventually went back to sleep and did not wake until after 9.30 which is unheard of for us!

We had a lovely cooked brekkie as dinner is not until around 5pm. Then we went for a walk - loads of people around! We are heading to Miss Osc's for 3.30 for starters and present opening. Then we will nip back here to collect the turkey (which is cooking away in the oven) and back to Miss Osc's for dinner. I hope everyone has a lovely day.
