The weather has been mild since our arrival and looks set to be the same again.

We're getting the 12.07 train to Birmingham today and Jackie is going to meet us at New Street.

She's very kindly going to drive us to the Robin Hood cemetery where we can pay our respects at Don's parents resting place.

Back to Jackie's for lunch then later this afternoon we'll get a taxi to Moseley to meet up with a bunch of friends.

Staying at Jackie's tonight.

Tramping in the filed next door later, to collect starting wood for the fire. Might re-arrange the dust when I get back.

Jo, it's pretty cold here too! Mick's back at work today as well so it's back to normal for me, and to be honest I'm happy to get back in the old routine

Walking into town soon, I need to get back into getting my steps and eating healthily

Morning all its dry here but cold just got a parcel from body shop love there stuff and had some xmas money to spend so it's all mine

Morning all - back to work for me today Same as you Kaz it is nice to go back to routine but I've loved not having to wake up to an alarm every morning; I could get quite used to that.

Cruiser, our recycling is being collected this coming Saturday; I suspect there will be lots of clanging come from mine
Saundra, that's what Christmas money is for - for you to spoil yourself; enjoy the goodies from the Body Shop

Well as said, back to work for me today; but it's lovely and quiet with only 5 of us here.

Nice and bright here at the moment.

We need to pop into town sometime today, both our prescriptions are ready and we could do with a few other bits. Not too much as I expect we'll be back to normal shopping tomorrow.

we now have enough starting wood for at least a couple of months

It's a lovely warm day now, so I've persuaded Grumpy a visit to the bar would be a good idea later I can take the bottles down for recycling and also the plastic. And we can check if the calendar Ria very kindly sent has arrived yet.
