Good Morning Saturday

Postby JoM » 05 Jan 2019, 07:39

Good morning all, another cold one here!

I need to do some shopping today and cut my Mom’s hair too. Tom’s off to Shannon’s this afternoon, he’ll be back tomorrow. There’ll probably be another dog walk later too.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, and everyone :)

It's very cold here too :? I was downstairs at just before 7 making tea and letting Fraggie out, and it was bitter when I opened the back doir. Mick usually makes early morning tea, but he's strained his back (playing ball with Fraggle on the field  ) so I got up to fetch his tablets. SW at 10.30 :? It won't be pretty  :cute: I'm hoping to have reversed some of the damage though, since I got on the scales on Monday and nearly fainted! ;) Corretto's for brunch afterwards then up to see D, as per :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning Jo, Kaz and everyone

Frosty start here  although it's mostly gone now the sun is out 8-) Rather cold too

Flicking the dust around this morning - I've given up weeding for the week-end, my back needs a couple of days off

This afternoon, we're heading to the supermarket, we're all out of sync  and will have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Chicken curry for dinner, and it's rather a warm one  I put in three chillies instead of two 8-) and this lot are hotter than the last lot we grew 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

good luck at sw Kaz x

Morning all

It is rather nippy out there, but dry so that's OK

I need to head off shortly, pick up some trousers I've taken in for repairs, pick up my new glasses (going for occupational lenses so I can use them for reading and the computer) and also past the garden centre for a mooch to see what there is

Jan, good idea to give your back a bit of a break; weekends are for relaxing so you may as well
Jo and Kaz enjoy your respective days doing the bits and bobs you're up to

Have a lovely day all; stay warm xxx

Morning. Enjoy the garden centre Ria and enjoy the curry Jan! Those chillies should help if you have a cold. I hope Mick's back improves soon Kaz. Jo, that dog of yours is ruined! :D
We had a busy day yesterday. A dash up to daughters in the morning, an Italian meal for lunch (very nice too) and then a taxi service in the afternoon. Son in law, baby, daughter and dog were all stranded in a pub car park because their car broke down. So we went over and recovered all but son in law back to base. I think the battery on their car has had it.

A quieter day today. Dad duty for MrsC, mooching for me and pizza later.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it is quite bright here but chilly. We got up a bit later than usual, and I had better get on with stuff, tidying around and doing some ironing. I'm getting my hair done at 4pm then it will be home to get ready for the ball tonight, dancing starting at 7pm, dinner at 8pm and then more dancing - should be fun.

Good afternoon all.

We've been supermarket shopping this morning and came back, worn out, with a taxi-load of goods.
Need a rest now, before we start taking down the last of the Christmas decorations.

Hope you are all O'K.

Afternoon all :D

Finding it very hard to get out of bed, really think I should be a tortoise and hibernate every winter.

We'll be starting operation dismantle the Christmas decs later. Will probably do outside first while it's dry and then have a go in here. The wreath on the door will stay in place until tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day :D

I'd love to be able to hibernate Jen! If only....

Still not feeling brilliant - officially my ABs course has now finished but I'm going to keep taking them until 7 days are up, as opposed to the five I was given. I'm still coughing though not quite as much - it's the chest/back pain that's a problem as well although I think that's due to the strain of all the coughing. I've been stocking up with Vitamin C and fresh pineapple, which is apparently much more effective than cough medicine, but then I read that it might not be a good idea to have that whilst on BP meds.....sigh.

We've not gone to Middleham as planned - we're both still unwell and I didn't feel I could enjoy two nights away whilst poorly. Shame though as the N Yorks countryside is so beautiful and we had some nice walks in mind. :(

Cloudy and a bit grey today. No idea of the temp as I've not been out - just done the ironing and tidied round a bit.

Enjoy Saturday xx

My word Gal, you're having a tough trot with this bug :( That's a shame, about going away, but I agree that it's pointless when you feel ill :( ((((x))))

The scales were kind - Becky has lost 2lbs over Christmas and NY ( 8-) ) and I'd managed to drop a couple of pounds since Monday and only logged a 2lb gain, which I was happy with.
