Good morning all! It looks like we'll have a clear day as I could see the stars when I walked Bill but it's very windy!

We've had a restless night! Bill suddenly decided that he needed to go out at around 2am so John took him downstairs and he had a quick sniff around the lawn and came back in. He was then pacing around the bedroom. He stood outside our bathroom door, wanting to go in, so when I opened the door he went in and sat behind it. In the end we let him out six times and each time he either quickly sniffed at a particular bit of the lawn before rushing back in or just stood on the doorstep sniffing the air. I even checked every room and both understairs cupboards in case someone had somehow got in and hid and at 3.30am I was out on the lawn in my pyjamas and a torch trying to see what was so interesting (nothing!). It was all very strange and made me feel quite nervous.

The washing machine is on so hopefully I can get it dried in the wind and ironed later. Joe's in college today and needs me to cut his hair when he gets home. I'm also waiting for an Amazon delivery of fairy lights. I wanted some battery operated copper wire ones for in a vase. There're already some in it but they're the conventional cable ones so are too heavy stay stuck in place and all eventually fall to the bottom of the vase. I have it on the cupboard by the front door and they have to be battery operated as there's no plug socket nearby to plug in electrical lights or even a lamp. They give out a lovely light though.

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Frosty again this morning, but the sun is out and it will thaw soon. there was nothing around when I first got up at 6.30 :?

How odd Jo  There must have been something he heard or smelt and needed to check out.

Still waiting for Heldar, could be next Monday

Pootling again today, washing machine on.

I spent the night in our new bedroom 8-) 8-) Lovely bed, might have to move in

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, and everyone :)

Back to Bonkers already Ally, those weeks flew past :)

Jo, fingers crossed, but ever since we let Fraggle sleep in his Santa suit (first time he fell asleep before we had a chance to take it off) we've had far fewer instances of him wanting to be let out at night 8-) He seems to find the coat comforting, so D is knitting him one  I hope whatever was bothering Billy was a one-off. Those lights sound pretty!

Morning Jan :)

Going to D's for lunch as usual, town first, it gets my steps in 8-)

Have a good day :) xxx

Oh Kaz, that sounds so cute! Fraggle in his Santa suit! :D
He's usually really good at night, he goes up to bed when I go and then stays there until he hears me get my coat out of the cupboard to go for a walk the following morning. I did wonder if the wind had unnerved him but we've had stronger winds than this and it's never fazed him before, it was just odd how he kept sniffing the same bit of lawn and then rushing back in and the places he was going, like behind our bathroom door and he got in the space under the stairs once too, are places he goes to when he's scared by fireworks.

Morning all, it's a nice morning here. I am meeting a friend for coffee at 11.00, this is my school friend who lives in Boston, but a couple of years ago she bought a small apartment here and now that she has retired, she tends to come over for a month at a time. Her own family were all here over Christmas/New Year so she was busy but now they have returned to the US (her son and his family live in New York, although her daughter lives here now) so this is the first chance we have had to meet up. Supermarket shop this afternoon, then a bit of babysitting this evening.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny but cold here.

I've got an appointment with the podiatrist at lunch time. Not sure what she will be doing, I had an assessment before Christmas and this is for the first treatment. She's also arranged an appointment at another clinic for tomorrow, no idea what that's about either. It's all to do with the diabetes, but whatever they do, fingers tightly crossed it helps with the ankle.

Afterwards we'll pop into the small Tesco and get some fruit and veg.

Hope you all have a good day :D
