Good morning all, it’s quite bright here but we’ve had rain overnight and there’s more forecast for later.

I’ve just got home with Billy and I’m now getting ready to get the bus to Stafford.

Have a good day all!

As it's reading 15 degrees now it's going to get way above the forecast 17 again.

It's been the warmest winter that I can remember since living here. :o

It’s been mild here too Ally, although it’s forecast to be changing over the next week. It’s 8c today, it was 11 earlier in the week. I was eating bilberries off a bush on Cannock Chase on Saturday, the bushes usually die down in Autumn and only give fruit in Summer.

Good morning everyone.

It is dull and raining but quite mild and it looks to be brightening up a bit.

I have to got to Bradford later on to get some decorating bits and bobs. I have promised myself to finish before 2019 is out.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone

Overcast this morning and we may get some rain this afternoon.

Been really hot during the day for the last few weeks, but the nights have been bitterly cold with a hard frost most mornings. Worst we've known it to be. But we were warned that this month would be cold, the local farmers really know the weather before the weather forecasts come out

Off to Ourique this morning and then back to weeding this afternoon, as long as it's dry ;) We managed 4 rows of onions yesterday, so Grumpy will finish that off and I'll attack the flower bed near the house - I can sit down and do that

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

It's damp and dull here, not a cat in the proverbial that it will get anywhere near 17° :cute:  ;)

I'm going to the Quays to meet my friend Alison for a catch up, not seen her since November so lots to chat about, no doubt :D Then as long as Shireen is in today I'll get my haircut, as it really needs it. Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it's a lovely sunny day here although cold, and forecast to get colder. I've been to the post office to take out money, and will be going to the gym shortly. Supermarket shop this afternoon.

Morning all

Ally, it's a lot warmer here this winter as well; but as Jo said it's expected to get nippy as of tonight.
I had a call from one of my neighbours yesterday evening, David. He finally managed to 'trim' the other neighbours tree; something he's been wanting to do for ages. It's a wild cherry and it was huge and whilst the birds loved it, it really did take all the evening sun from my garden. In the summer when I'd get home after being indoors all day there was no more sun to sit in. I had a quick look in the dark last night and oh my, not sure trim is the word I'd use - he's cut it right down. Not sure Trish whose tree it is will be best pleased as but it really did need doing. Hopefully come the spring a few side branches will shoot out again but at least now I, David and another neighbour Doreen will have some sun back. The tree was covering 1/2 Doreen's back garden where she grows her veg and she was struggling and really hacked off about the tree. So all in all 3x happy neighbours, 1x not so happy neighbour and 1x unhappy pigeons. But plenty other trees around for them

Another usual/usual for me otherwise.
Hope you all have a lovely day x
