It doesn't half help! I dread to think how much he'd be 'borrowing' off us now he's running his car, it was bad enough over the Summer when he wasn't getting shifts as McDs, he wasn't having to put petrol in a car then! :lol:

Ahhh good, lots of cups of tea and some good telly for you. Shut your curtains so you can't see the horrible weather ;)

Best of luck to Joe and Harry and all youngsters. I would hate to be in their shoes as things were so different back when....

I walked out of the last day at school and went to the local printers for a job. They did not have one, but knew somewhere that might. I went over and started as an apprentice the next day.

Saundra, wrap up in loads of layers and keep warm. xxx

You're so right Frank! I walked straight out of school at 17 into a Clerical Officer's job in the DHSS. An adu!t wage with London weighting.
