Morning Ally, morning everyone

Varying shades of grey in the sky today and we're expecting some rain :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: It's quite mild though. This morning is the first for a long time I haven't put the electric heaters on.

I have some ironing to do and I'll make a veg curry to pad out the chicken one for dinner.

No outside stuff today, we had some rain last night, so everything is soaked.

Enjoy your hill walking Ally and time with the boys xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning VV world.

It was very cold overnight, with a dusting of snow, and apparently not much change for the day.

There is a residents' meeting this afternoon with local councillors and boy do we have some issues to discuss!

Stay warm and have a good day y'all.

Morning all. It did snow a bit around here last night too WM. All gone now though. MrsC is at our daughters before going to her dads.
Very grey here and cold. Sorry I've not been around much but things have been a bit stressy lately.
WM, good luck with the councillors!

:Hi: :Hi:

Woohaa.

It's our local Saint's Day tomorrow (San Sebastian) so there's mega celebrations going on in town today.

As we were out tackling them there hills  we could see all signs of festivities being arranged. There will be food and drink stalls, live bands, stages to dance on and general fun that the Spanish are so good at.

Suffice to say we'll be out and about in it all day. :cute: :cute:

Morning all :)

Enjoy the celebrations Ally :D

Hope you get the rain you need Jan :)

Good luck with the meeting Frank, you tell 'em! 8-) ;)

Crommers, we're all here with a virtual shoulder for you ((((x))))

Well it was a very early start here, as we went to the 8.30 SW meeting - good news as B lost another 2lbs and I lost a half 8-) Mick picked us up afterwards and we're now in a newly refurbished Corretto's having brunch. Actually, the only thing that looks different is the flooring, but it was shut for a week, so maybe they did stuff to the kitchen that we can't see? :geek: :?

Off to see D in a while - I wonder if she's finished Fraggle's coat yet? I need to get some buttons for it, but I'm blowed if I'll tell the lady on the wool stall in the market what I'm buying them for..... :P

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here, think it's a bit chilly though, yesterday was the first time I had to wear my ear muffs.

Hope things calm down for you Crommers x

Good luck with your meeting WM.

Usual Saturday for us, bed stripped and sheets in the washing machine. Expecting our neighbour to pop round sometime later, her grandson gave her a tablet and she likes to play games on it, but they often stop working. She doesn't have wifi and they just need updating. She put her bungalow on the market, got a buyer and was planning to move this month, but we heard yesterday her new place has fallen through. It's all a bit strange really, she wants to downsize and make some money to spend on travel, not easy when you live in a 2 bed bungalow which unlike ours hasn't been updated and extended. She's around my age, has been diagnosed with COPD, and was planning to move into a small new build terraced house. Not sure stairs is the best future proofing move. Anyway, she's now worried about losing her buyer and is rushing round trying to find something else. She's been a lovely neighbour so we'll be sorry to see her go.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Sunshine and showers now - showers quite heavy at times too :Hi: :Hi: It's warmer outside than in, so we've lit the fire. The garden is looking lovely now we've had some rain 8-)

Having stairs and COPD doesn't make sense Jen :?

Hi all :D

We've had Lily for a couple of hours this morning while her brother was playing football. Dad likes to watch intently and Lily is a distraction... .we took her on our weekly walk, we chose Durham riverbanks again, which is approx. 5 miles and I didn't think she'd hack it, but she did!! :D 8-) I only WISH Dad had dressed her warmer.....a long sleeved T shirt and leggings with a cosy coat isn't really enough IMO. (Mum's at work on a long shift) We went to the cathedral and had a drink and a scone in there, also a look round as Lily has never been before and she was very taken with it. Lovely time spent together (pics on FB)

Cold and grey today, no glimmers of sunshine. Got an evening of peace tonight as T's off to the dog track with Amy. Going to have a bath and watch both eps of Silent Witness from this week I think. I may or may not colour my hair...

Kaz that's a fab result for you both at WW, well done :D

Have a smashing day, everyone, however you are spending it x
