Good morning.

Sunny and 17 degrees forecast. 8-)

It's a holiday here today. Because the feast of San Sebastian was yesterday there's a puente today.

Going for a walk this morning then happily spending the day at home. :D

Out early evening for a bite to eat. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Ally and to all VVers once they log in.

I was up early (5 am) to see the super blood wolf moon. The skies were clear and the moon was over to the west. It really was a deep reddish colour, quite unreal - eerie. I took some photos but unfortunately all I got were black rectangles with a blurry thing in the top right. I think it needed a proper setup rather than a phone camera. Ah well, I have the memories.

Have a pleasant day everyone. xx

Morning all :)

17° sounds great Ally :D I hope you have a lovely day off :) xx

Frank that a bit of a shame, about the photos, but it must have been an amazing sight! I think it would have been too cloudy here to see much

It's grey and dull here, hopefully dry though. Typical Monday - out for the WW meeting, then a bite and shopping with my friends from the meeting.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Chilly start but the sun is out so will warm up. We're warming up by the week-end too :Hi: :Hi: None of this 1C or 2C at night   The wind has dropped too, so will get the washing out.

Enjoy your day off Ally x

Houseworkery stuff for me this morning, Grumpy needs a hair cut too and then I have the dentist this afternoon, hopefully for the final visit, apart from maybe having a tooth out. He wants it out, I can't be bothered, but at anything from 35€ to 75€ to take it out, it may stay

Pit stop at the bar on the way back - and left over curry for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Woke up to a heavy frost, nice and sunny now, but I'm guessing it's pretty cold.

E needs to get his hair cut and I feel like a little walk so we're off into town later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

It's bright, but a little cold here. Been a walk to the local shop for some odds and ends.

We've nothing else planned for today.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good afternoon. we have take FiL for his eye check up this morning, then on to his siblings house and taken their rent money to the post office. Shortly MrsC is going to Ellies house.
It is a bit cold here. The MPG of our car has dropped quite sharply. I know that MPG does dip in the winter but this is very noticeable.
Have a good day all.

Cromwell, all things being equal cold(ish) weather should only drop your MPG by a few percent. However, driving with lights on, higher heater use and more fan, and window de-icers all ramp that up some more.

And here's a tip from my time with the RAF on winter detachments to Bodo (North Norway) and Cold Lake (Alberta, Canada). Both are within spitting distance of the Arctic Circle - Bodo is just about on it - and the rule is to keep your fuel tank as full as possible most of the time. It stops excessive condensation building up in the tank, and as we all know petrol and water do not mix.
