Good afternoon all, we've got snow and ice which isn't really clearing. It starts to thaw when the sunshines but it keeps going foggy -which it is again right now - so it's not properly shifting.
Suffice to say I've not ventured out with Billy yet as the paths are pretty icy.
We had a great time last night seeing Frank Turner, I was working out that it's 9 years this year since we first saw him live when he was supporting Green Day at the cricket ground in Manchester. It doesn't seem that long and I think last night was my 9th time of seeing him. His shows are always very lively, just brilliant. The roads had cleared a bit by the time we left home and we left at 7.15pm, parked on the street near to the Bullring and we were in the Arena on the far side of Brindley Place by 8pm. The paths were treacherous when we left the concert at 11 though and it didn't help that we came out through an entrance which led us over hump back canal bridges which were very icy. There were some steps we walked down at the back of the Mailbox too which were covered in ice and one slip and we'd have been in Gas St Basin
By the time we got off the M6 at junction 11 for home the A roads were covered. Once we got home we then had to start worrying about Joe, he'd had a friend around and he'd had to take him back home. It was a relief to see him come back up the hill but he had to carefully negotiate his way around the number of cars parked on the road.
Good luck with the MOT Kaz!
Enjoy the day everyone
