Enjoy the walk Ally. We have the same weather Kaz, wall to wall blue sky. Saundra, can you block that number?

Son in law goes for a minor operation today in Doncaster (to cure acid reflux) so MrsC is going up tonight to help with Eliza. Apart from that not too much on. We might need a new back door soon so may look up the prices etc.

Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone.

Same sort of weather as yesterday, very cold and bright but without the strong wind.

Charity shop coming to pick up my old chairs and sofa to make room for the new ones sometime this week - I need to coordinate the two.

Saundra, ring 1471 then block the number.

Have a good day all. xx

Morning all, it's a sunny and frosty one here. It's lovely!

Me and Billy had a long walk, earlier. I forgot my torch, I didn't realise until we got off the path from the estate due to the streetlights beforehand. The torch on my phone sufficed though and by the time we'd done a loop of the golf course it was just about light enough not to need it.

Tom's just popped to Birmingham, he's having to go to a station on a different line as the trains aren't running here due to a problem with the power lines. Not that we've switched to electric trains yet, that apparently doesn't happen until May (we'll see, it was supposed to happen last month). Joe's in college later and Tom has work from 4.

Right, I'd better dry my hair before getting stuck in with the ironing and keeping an ear open for an Amazon delivery.

Hope your son in law's operation goes well Crommers, John had an op for that a few years ago. Wonder if it's the same procedure?

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Hope the operation goes well for your SIL Crommers.

Good idea to block that number Saundra.

Planning to get the bus into town for a general mooch round and a gentle stroll round the harbour.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, it's dull and cold here. I'm just about to tidy up before I go to the gym, Edward has already set off to walk to the golf club although the course may be closed due to frost - inspection at 11am. H/work this afternoon.

Morning all

Jan, take it easy if you're coming down with something; otherwise it's just going to take much longer to get better.
Saundra, agree with the others - block the number if you can. And google it to see if it gives a possible company name and then report them because cold calling like that should not be allowed! It really really makes me so so mad
Ally, bet the kids will be glad when Wednesday is done with and no more exams :D
Kaz, enjoy your morning. I just cancelled my WW. When I first joined there was a meeting 2 mins from home which was perfect; they then moved it to another location 10 mins drive and I could only go Saturday mornings at 8.30am which was fine and actually suited me. But they've now moved from there and it's a 20 minute drive to the other side of Guildford; no thanks! So I've cancelled.
Crommers, good luck to your SIL, hope all goes well
Jo, I do think the mornings are definitely getting ligher earlier again - the best part of this time of year; that slow steady approach to the long summer days
Jen enjoy the mooch around the harbour
Frank, glad the charity shop can take the furniture and hope the new ones arrive asap. What will you sit on in the meantime? :?
Osc, enjoy gym

Well sort of usual / usual for me. We've got quite a few colleagues from the US arriving in the course of the week but most have been here a few times before so no need to show them where everything is; they can just get on with it themselves. I must say - I know it is very early days and we will get busier at some point, but so far it's actually not been too bad being on my own; I'm coping OK so fingers crossed it stays like that. But it is quite quiet sitting where I am on my own; so this morning I brought in my DAB radio from home. I don't really use it there as it hasn't got good reception and I've got my Alexa. So at least it's now a bit of background music for me

Well have a lovely day everyone; stay warm x
