Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 03 Feb 2019, 08:04

Good morning.

Gorgeous here. 8-) 8-)

Off for a 12km walk then back to have breakfast with Jacob and Conor.

They'll head home to Malaga and us two will chill out for the day. I'm going to sit in the garden for a couple of hours and read. :D

DOI & Vera tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, enjoy the walk.
Cold here, you can see the dog walker's (and their dog's) breath in the air.
Family Sunday dinner today, not much else on apart from watching the footie.
Have a good day all.

Morning Ally, Crommers and everyone

A lovely sunny morning, but with a chilly wind.

Not doing a lot today, back hurts a little  just need to vacuum and mop the floors.

Roast chicken for dinner. I always cook two, as they're teeny  so that's us sorted for the next couple of days, dinner wise 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's cold but sunny here, but we've no plans for going out today.

Hope you are all feeling fine, and have a nice day.

Good morning all, it is a dampish day here, cold but not frosty. We stayed in bed late as I fell back asleep and Edward has a cold ( ) so it was after 9.30 before we got up. We thoroughly enjoyed Calendar Girls last, it was very well done. This afternoon, rather excitingly, we are heading off to be in the audience of Dancing with the Stars Ireland, the Irish version of Strictly. I got four tickets so another couple is coming with us, we have been before but they have not. We will leave here just before 3pm, we are required to be there before 4.30 and the show starts at 6.30pm. The result is announced tonight on the live show, none of this stupid stuff of recording a results show and pretending it is the next day. Better go and decide what to wear >>>>>>>>>>>

Afternoon all :D

Lovely, bright and sunny here 8-)

Take it easy and rest that back Jan x

No need to tell you we've had a long lie in, just having brekkie  Continuing the lazy theme, doing as little as possible today. Roast chicken for dinner later, strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud. Great evening on the box, DOI, Call the Midwife and Vera.

Have a good day :D

Hi everyone :)

We had a great night last night! We were glad of the costumes keeping us warm, as others with scarier costumes were a bit chilly - the party was in a bar by the water, and the Docks froze over, it was so bitter out!

We've been out for the papers, and to return our costumes, roast chicken and bread and butter pudding on the menu for later :) For now we're watching Father Brown on the player 8-) 8-)

:) Xxx

Hope you got a taxi there and back Kaz :D :D Looks a good night :D

Very cold wind here still, so have not done a lot, apart from read  Looking out of the windows, a lovely blue sky makes you think it's warm

Just brought the washing in and my hands are frozen

But the weather is set to improve and warm up from tomorrow, so looking forward to getting out in the garden. And yes Jen, I will be careful, no more than a couple of hours, bending over. The weeds have come back with a vengeance, so that needs to be done this coming week.

   I bet!!!

We've had our usual Sunday walk - when we can't plan where we'll go, we go on our riverbanks walk!! :D There's still a lot of snow in parts, all iced up as it was apparently very low temps last night. It was comical trying to go up any banks with no steps, most were just sheet ice - even the youngsters were clinging on to the rails and many turned back! Cake and coffee in the cathedral café and then back to the car - I've done 14k steps today (5.7 miles) so all worth it - and lovely and fresh too, pink cheeks when we returned.

I woke in the night too - felt quite sickly, decided it must have been because we had our weekly takeout so late (9.30) and then I went to bed shortly after 10 as I'm not sleeping well anyway atm and felt tired.

I'll be making something quick for tea later - enjoy the rest of Sunday xx
