Evening all and sorry for the radio silence. Been a funny few days at work (this week and last) but we're getting there.

Hope you've all had a lovely day; I'm looking forward to getting home and sitting on the sofa not doing very much. I cannot wait for warmer weather and lighter longer evenings. We're definitely well on the way to it - it's coming up to 5pm and I can still see the river from my office window

The weather was lovely today - so hot, I put sun cream on

We ripped up the dead plants - three big bags and 4 barrow loads

A treat for Grumpy, pork pie and beer at 1.00pm I had a beer too, just resting the back

Garden too wet to weed still but I walked round the garden and pulled up all the very lovely looking flowers, but they irritate my skin so much

We sat outside at 4.00, had a beer but Grumpy found it too hot he went inside, I stayed out

Hit 22.5C this afternoon, which is lovely and similar tomorrow

But ow the fire is roaring away
