Oh I saw Fraggles' sleep suit Kaz - how cute!! Glad he slept well, he must have felt like he was being cuddled all night :D 8-)

I've got a wax buildup in my left ear :? ....it's left me completely deaf in said ear. I've been putting olive oil drops in for a few days - our audiologist was at work on Monday and he confirmed I had a blockage, but the wax was quite soft. I probably need it syringed but I can't get to see this practice nurse till Friday - only hope I don't get it infected or anything It just feels awful....and embarrassing!!

Went for lunch with Anne (our Optom) at the village café at lunchtime, I had a corned beef and onion toastie. Quite a nice - mild - day here! 8-)

I'm off till Saturday now - enjoy your evening! xx

I'll be honest, this is driving me to distraction! It's not just the deafness in that side, it's the weird feeling sort of, inside my head? And it's itchy but obviously I can't reach.

I've been putting olive oil in for days but if anything it's made it worse - before using the oil, it was a bit sticky but I wasn't completely deaf, unlike now! The receptionist didn't say they wouldn't do it, just to make sure I have used the oil for at least 3 weeks...….but our audiologist said it was quite soft so should be suitable to syringe.

I see they do do it in Specsavers - for £35!!!

I can hear again!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So - in I went this morning - she gave me a container to be placed under my ear to 'catch' the wax and then put a fine spray of warm water into the ear canal to flush the wax out - ta-da!!!! Instant hearing 8-) :D :D :D Took a couple of minutes and she said there was 'a lot', it was nice and runny
