Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start but supposed to be rather warm again later 8-)

Off to Ourique after breakfast to do our normal run around everywhere  Alentejana supermarket, hardware shop, dentist then up to the centro de saúde to see if we can make an appointment to see our doc about the driving licences then Pingo for the main shop and phew, off to the tyre place to order two new back tyres.

Pit stop for coffee on the way back and I'll make a curry for Saturday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Ally it's Thursday again because yesterday was Wednesday.... it happens every week. Keep up. ;) :P

Dull, no wind but with drizzle.

Volunteering this morning and I might go straight to town afterwards.

Tip run again for me today. Daughter and SiL have had new dining chairs delivered and there's a ton of packing materials to go to the dump.

As per WM, dark and drizzly but not cold.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny today 8-)

Up early as it's my 3 monthly appointment with the diabetic nurse. Not expecting a big improvement in the blood sugar reading, just hoping it's not increased. Afterwards we're off to do the weekly shopping.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Ally, I have no idea, the weeks are galloping past at the moment! Suits me, as I hate winter

Hope you get all your bits and bobs done Jan :D

Have a good one, Frank 8-) :D

Mick loves a good excuse for a tip run, Crommers. For a man who works at a desk, he's very fond of getting his hands dirty :geek:

Sunshine here, and fairly mild - there are daffs almost out on the grass verges on the walk into town. It's tempting to think that Spring isn't too far away:D Good shopping with D this morning, then housework this afternoon. Pilates tonight 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's pouring down here (the overnight rain wasn't forecast to carry on after 6am but there you go!) and it's very windy.

I took Billy for a walk earlier as the rain had stopped and the paths had dried up and it stayed pretty much dry until we were 10 minutes from home and then it hammered it down. Still, he's had a good long walk and also stopped on the common for a chat with Pete the Parish Councillor who was on his morning walk, he doesn't have a dog but just goes for a walk every morning, he's a lovely bloke and always up for a natter.

I haven't spotted any daffs here yet Kaz but then I've not walked past the verges in the village where they grow. My Mom's crocuses were open last weekend though. I've got a pot of Hyacinths in the living room and they smell so beautiful :)

Food shopping tonight so I'd better make a list and plan meals for the week.

Have a good day all!

Hope your appointment went well Jen x

Got most things sorted. Picked up a cover for the vent in the bathroom, as the wind was whistling through  Luckily, Marco didn't order one for us, as it was 44€ so we got one for 1.90

Dentist thinks there may have been an infection :o :o but as the pain is less than than it was, leave it for a month - unless it gets worse - and then go and see him

Can't see the doctor unless we go at 2.00 and queue  so I'll ring on Saturday and see if Dr Paulo is in.

Ordered the tyres, got the food shopping done.

No petrol at one station, so had to go to Palheiros

I'm now going to make a curry and bolognaise and we'll pop down the bar for a beer or three later.

Not as warm as yesterday, but didn't need jackets, unless you were in the shade, then, by heck, it's cold
