Good morning Ally and everybody else.
It is raining and very windy.
Not doing much today.
Going out for a drink tonight. It is a party for the volunteers who helped at the Santa Specials on the East Lancs Railway. The news is that the proceeds are better than last year and the children I saw seemed to enjoy it.
Have a good d ay everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Thick fog  <Although it is lifting a little - we can now see the battery store ;)

Taking it easy today, back still aching  I really must remember that I'm not that young any more and doing anything strenuous should be done slowly, not going at it like I would 30 years ago

I have some ironing, not sure what Grumpy will be doing - he is also being reminded that he's older now. We're a pair of crocks this morning

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's mild but wet here. It's very windy too!

Billy hasn't had his walk, because it's hard enough to get him out into the garden when it's raining  so I connected my iPad to the cross trainer and spent an hour on that while watching the BBC's documentary about Bangkok Airport on iPlayer. I'll keep an eye on the weather while I'm doing some housework and if there's a break in the rain I'll walk Bill then.

Have a good day all!

Morning all - happy Friday!!!!

Ally, enjoy the retail therapy - don't spend too much
Cruiser, enjoy the evening and well done all involved with the Santa Day
Jan, maybe a good day for both of you to have a lovely lazy day and just do very very very little?
Jo, hope the weather clears and Billy gets his walk. Karl and Nadine's dogs are the same with the rain; they hate it :D Well Bella was fine with it but as she's gotten older she's happier staying inside and dry bless her.

Friday = lunch day; today it's burgers! yum yum yum !!!!!!! :P :P :P

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all. Yes, steady away with the work Jan, a bad back is no fun. Windy and rainy here too. Shortly I'm off to do the big shop and then it's a visit to see baby Eliza.
Tonight I'm meeting some old friends for a couple of beers.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

It's trying to rain here, but I'm not going anywhere. Arthritis in my hands is crippling me this morning, and nothing I do seems to help.
I've just bought the necessary things to give my hands a hot wax bath, which I'm told might help. Let's hope so, the pain is so intense now.

Nothing planned for today. A day of rest is called for.

Hope you are all O.K.

Oh Aggers, that sounds really painful - sorry! ((hug))

Have you thought about accupuncture - would that be worth a try? Hope the hot wax helps you

Good morning all, I never got around to posting yesterday. It is bright and sunny here but extremely windy, and Edward's golf has been called off (he is happy enough though, as he still has a bad cold.) I will be going to the gym in a while, out with the ladies for a cuppa afterwards, and we will probably go dancing tonight.
