It seems pretty warm today, for the time of year! Not complaining though I'm out this morning, meeting a friend for a coffee, then it's Zumba tonight

Becky is off to her dad's until Sunday - that was all arranged before she had to go to Scotland. It would have made more sense really to travel back with her dad and Harry from Scotland, but she'd already bought her train tickets for today.

Been out for a run early and have since spent the past 2 hours plus trying to book flights and times for New York and the UK for the summer and i'm not having much luck tying everything all in.

Interwebby thing is really slow this morning

Washing machine on and we'll be working outside later. We have taken down the old netting between us and the next door, as it was falling apart and will be transplanting a load of lavenders that are growing everywhere to make a hedge.

Must remember to put sun cream on too - it's getting rather warm in the afternoons

A bit of a misty start this morning; was meant to be 6 degrees but the damp air makes it feel loads colder. But at least no scraping ice! And it's so lovely to be driving to the station and it's light!

Saundra, so glad to hear you're feeling a bit better - make a note of the name of the antibiotic and make sure they give you the same one if ever you need them again
Ally, hopefully you get things sorted with the flights; it can be such a minefield trying to get everything in the right order at the right price.
Jan, a lavender hedge will be lovely and hopefully actually also have a calming effect on the dogs? Fingers crossed

Usual work day but another late(r) night - meeting with a friend for dinner; and Nadine may or may not join. Yesterday I got home just before 10pm but hopefully this evening will be a bit earlier. I'm getting too old for being out two school nights on the trot... I could have easily ignored the alarm this morning

Mornng all, I woke around 6.30 with a headache and soreish throat, so I cancelled the gym. Fell back into one of those heavy sleeps that makes you feel awful when you wake up. I'm up and about but not feeling great. I'll do the supermarket shop in a while, then take it easy for the rest of the day and hopefully nip any incipient illness in the bud. We are awaiting a couple of deliveries, so I'll leave himself here while I do the shopping. It's dull and cool with quite a breeze.
