Morning all, it's a lovely sunny day here and we have lots of daffodils on our terrace. Children today, I will be collecting Kellie at 12.00. I need to contact our kitchen installer as the hinge on our integrated fridge door has had a part fall off, meaning it is hard to close the fridge fully. I'm going to send a photo off to them and see what they say.

We don't bother with Valentine's Day, although I still gave the first card Edward gave me.

Good morning all, it's a beautiful one here!

I've taken Billy for a long walk, it seemed a shame to come home so we just kept going. There are now two loads of washing out on the line in the sunshine.

Our house is full of new car excitement at the moment (for some, a car's a car as far as I'm concerned :P ). Tom gets his new one on Saturday (it's not new new, it's 18 months old but his current one is 12 year old) and he's counting down the minutes and John gets to see his tomorrow as it's being delivered to the dealers today.
He's opting out of the company car scheme, although his company will increase his wages to cover the cost of buying a car, and wasn't due to change cars until the end of April so the dealers were going to hold it until then. However, a colleague's car lease expired last week and he won't get his new company car until late April as he was late ordering it so he's now having John's old car seeing as the new one is ready. John can't have it until March 1st though because, for some reason which is totally out of character, he's just bought himself a personalised registration which can't be used until the '19 registrations come into effect. It's not an obvious one unless you know John; it's his first and middle name initials, then 19 followed by the first three letters of our surname.

Saundra, glad you're feeling a bit better. No Valentines here, although I think the lads will do okay! Joe's off out for a meal with Amanda later and Tom's working but he'll see Shannon at the weekend. He went into Birmingham yesterday and bought her some goodies from Lush.

Kaz, it's a lovely day for a walk isn't it!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Plenty of romance here Saundra, E bought me roses and a lovely card, I'm very lucky :D :D

Not sure how time goes so fast these days, but it's Thursday again :o Weekly shop for us, M&S and then Tesco. We usually come back in to a casserole, but it's Valentine's day so we'll be having a nice M&S meal with a bottle of bubbly tonight :D

Happy Valentine's Day xxx

And sunshiney hugs too Saundra xx

We sorted something out - new tyres before the mot, another 140€, Dra Ana was too busy, so I'll try at the week-end or next week. MOT next week, Sergio will take it - we decided on the morning, as he does like a lunchtime drink  - I could smell him from feet away  :cute: :cute: If he reaches 50, I'll be gobsmacked

We have a new family doctor :Hi: :Hi: But I'll still see Dra Ana, as she signed the original forms.

Back to the bar, Marie Jose was having one of her off days, so after trying to get a beer for 10 minutes, we left

Gurt lush steak pie, roast taties and veg.

Will probably go to bed early, as I'm having rubbish nights sleep again. Woke up at 1.00am, then 3.00am and again at 5.00am and then couldn't get back to sleep. A left over from pre-Gladys, sadly. Who is 7 tomorrow  But it's warming up nicely here, loving the better weather, planning a bbq for Sunday 8-)
