Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 20 Feb 2019, 07:29

Morning everyone

Supposed to be foggy this morning, but we have clear skies and hoping for a warm day.

Car to be washed and checked over - it rained rather a lot yesterday, so we weren't able to do that. Off to Ourique to buy an English paper - we only buy one a year  - to read whilst we're waiting for the car.

Then back to Ourique and do the weekly shop. Pit-stop at the bar for a coffee

How are you doing now Saundra?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both :)

Fingers crossed for the car Jan :) xx

Glad you're feeling a bit better Saundra 8-) :) xx,

I'll be out for a walk in a while, that's become a real pleasure with the much milder weather recently. To all intents and purposes here nature thinks that it's Spring! The trees are budding, the flowers are out, the birds are singing - I just hope we don't get a really wintery blast coming in :?

Zumba and Pilates tonight! I missed last week as my friend was ill and couldn't go, so Steph is squeezing me into tonight's class, which is immediately after Zumba, at the same venue :?

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all. Good luck with the car Jan. It's rained here too Saundra, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. Enjoy pilates and zumba Kaz!
Mainly looking at cars today. I don't really want to get rid of welded Wendy the Honda, but it won't take an isofix baby seat and the car is nearly 15 years old now.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, it's lovely again here although we had rain overnight.

I've walked Billy and done some housework since getting back, I'm now going to do my nails I think.

Saundra  Glad you're doing better now though xx

Kaz, it's really lovely for walking isn't it - Bill's been getting an extra one this last week, I've been taking him in the afternoon as well as morning and night (with John too at night). It's seems a shame to not take advantage of the weather.

Crommers, I hope you find something good. Tom got rid of his 12 year old Clio at the weekend. It hadn't even done 60,000 miles but he's going to be doing a lot more driving once he starts his PGCE so wanted to have something newer.

Have a good day all!

Greetings all

Hope you got all your bits and bobs sorted Jan
Saundra, glad to read you're feeling better; that is fab news
Jo and Kaz, it's the same here - the weather is so mild and there's a definitely spring feeling in the air. I do worry though that we will have a repeat of March last year - it was miserable!
Crommers good luck with the car hunting; so many things to think about these days.

Well sort of usual / usual for me - but leaving work early as I have a vet appointment for Eli tonight and then heading straight to my SIL to collect a suitcase so I can start packing for my trip to Germany on Friday; so all a bit of a rush but once home I can relax.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

The car passed :Hi: :Hi: Not bad for a 21 year old ;)

Felt like all the local English were in the supermarket, as well as many tourists   We were in and out in record time, avoiding them

Clouded over a little now, not sure what we'll be doing this afternoon. My back could do with a rest.

Best of luck looking at cars Crommers and hope the vet goes okay Ria xx

Another bright sunny day 8-)

Glad you're feeling a bit better Saundra xx
Good news about the car Jan.
What make/type of car are you thinking of Crommers?

No plans here, think it will be a lazy day for us.

Have a good day :D

I've put a deposit down on a Hyundai IX20 Jen. Four years old, fsh, petrol automatic. I pick it up on Friday afternoon. :)
