It's too nasty to go out, I hate being stuck in the house.

Ohhh me too!!!! I go out no matter what - and get wet in the process  Have you got a good book on the go? Or some music to listen to? Daft question I know ;)

Started out lovely here. Donna posted details on Facebook to sell Tom's car last night, so we had a viewing this morning - he wanted him to drop the price by £500 but Tom wouldn't, so he left it - I'm glad, it's not an urgent sale and it's immaculate, and low mileage.

After he left we went out - today we headed to Seaton Carew, which is a usual haunt. I drove, for a change, and we parked up and headed along the beach for a walk. Lots of people out with dogs....Tom got fish n chips and a tea (I wasn't hungry) to eat in the car, and then we went to the Marina at Hartlepool and into a café bar for a coffee and a scone (Tom full of chips so he just had tea). Then lastly we went to the Headland. I was surprised it was so populated, lots of lovely Victorian houses and loads of history. By this time it was raining and windy, so we didn't stay long...we'll definitely return on a dry day though! You know I said last Wednesday I was off till Monday? I have been out somewhere every day - and quite often for about 4-5 hours  8-) LOVE it!!

Osc the telly on Sundays is SOOO much better than a Saturday night isn't it? There is NOTHING we enjoy watching on Saturdays....I try and remember to record something that we can both watch on Saturday nights, this week I had recorded a film that isn't new, but neither of us have seen, called The Pursuit of Happyness. We really enjoyed it, so definitely worth doing :D

Enjoy what's left of Sunday! :D x

We ate outside in the end, as the clouds went as did the wind 8-) The sun is almost on the back terrace :D

Jose Felipe and Ana Cristina came up with some fresh pork - they killed a rather large pig yesterday - and also some presunto :D

They arrived just as we'd put the pork steaks on the bbq, so wouldn't stay. But this is the first time she'd seen the new bedroom and was very impressed. Perfecto, she said :D

Oh goodness, I had it in my head that I'd posted this morning, but clearly hadn't..... :?

It's a rotten day here too! Raining and very windy, but we're intrepid here ( :P ) so managed our coffee and newspaper habit. I bought a ready made cottage pie as I'm still feeling a bit washed out, and popped that in the oven for our late lunch/early dinner.

We've watched the new Alan Partridge and a new comedy called Warren, with Martin Clunes, on the player, and laughed a lot at both 8-) Just done a little bit of ironing and am settled in front of Dancing On Ice now 8-)

Love to all xxxxx

Happy to see you liked the new Alan Partridge comedy Kaz....I'm a massive Steve Coogan fan. :P :P

And I laughed out very loud at Warren!

Apart from the fact I love Martin Clunes he actually reminded me of my first driving instructor. (Note the use of first! He was a crabby sh*t face and actually stopped the car I was learning in to buy a pint of milk in a local shop!! This was in the 80s so things are no doubt different now. )

Anyway...so bad did I think he was I told him I would no longer be requiring his services.

(Boy did mum give me earache when I relayed that particular piece of information as said driving instructor was the husband of one of mum's friends!)

Second driving instructor (my choice! ) was lovely and I sailed through! :D :D :D

We enjoyed Alan Partridge too. John's watched the Scissored Isle one this afternoon from a couple of years ago - I'm not sure how he missed it first time around, I was sure he'd seen it!

I'be not yet got over the disappointment of missing his book signing in Manchester a couple of years ago, it was when we were in California and he did the signing as Alan Partridge. I'd have been right there had we been in the country

I liked Alpha Papa too  Virgin Atlantic had a couple of episodes of Mid Morning Matters on their in flight entertainment last year so I obviously watched those again, one was the episode where he interviews the fella from the North Norfolk Hunt. I'm laughing even thinking about that

Our next door neighbour is called Dan...can't say his name without shouting it Partridge-style (though not to his face)
