Good morning Wednesday

Postby cromwell » 06 Mar 2019, 08:34

Morning all.
MrsC and her sister are going to their dad's this morning so I am at leisure. I'm going to take myself off in the car for a mooch.
Grey and rainy here. Can't complain though, we haven't had much rain over the winter and we must need it.
Have a good day al.

Morning Crommers, morning everyone

A very wet and windy night / I was awake for most of it  and we have more rain to come :Hi: :Hi: Also high winds this afternoon, and as we're on a bit of a high spot...……

Will attempt the ironing again sometime today and will get the fridges cleaned, before I fill them up tomorrow. We'll also need to let some water out of the pool.

We had planned on going to Castro market, but it would be so muddy, so will give that a miss.

Enjoy your mooch Crommers. How's the aunt in law?

Havea good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

She's very up and down Jan. She went in for gallstons and had that sorted, then they discovered a problem with her kidneys, which needs to be sorted. They told her on the Thursday that the op was scheduled for the coming Tuesday, but in the interim she developed fluid on the lungs and a fever, and on the Friday night had to be worked on to clear the fluid from her lungs; she nearly died. After that she's been too weak to do the op, though now they have her up and moving for part of the day. She's been told that when they get her lungs clear they will fix her kidneys. In herself she's better, more cheerful and eating well, so time will tell.

Morning all :)

Crommers, enjoy the "you" time 8-) I hope your aunt will be well enough soon for her up xx

It's raining here too Jan xx

Wet and windy here, but am venturing into town to meet a friend. Can I please ask for some VV vibes? My lovely friend Jaqui is in hospital with a bloodclot on the lung, and I am really worried about her :(

Morning all

Crommers definitely enjoy your 'me' day - you of all people really deserve it. And fingers crossed for your aunt that they sort the lung issues and she can have the next op and then be home soon.
Kaz, sending lot of vibes for your friend; what a worry :(
Jan, your weather sounds positively delightful - not. But glad you're getting much needed rain and fingers crossed it makes it to that dam near you and that starts filling up!

well a rather wet and damp day here as well - and another usual / usual as they go

Have a wonderful day all x

Morning all, there is sunshine here but it looks a bit watery. We had lots of rain last night. I am going to a funeral today, a dancing friend. I heard three weeks ago that he was having chemo so I emailed him. I had a long email back, he was starting his third session of chemo, was very optimistic and we planned to meet up when he felt a bit better, so we were totalky shocked to hear of his death :( Edward has to wait in for a parcel delivery, so can't come with me. Supermarket shopping afterwards.

Afternoon all :D

Rain and drizzle here

Enjoy your 'free' day Crommers.
Sending vibes for your friend Kaz.
Hope the funeral goes as well as these things can Osc.

We had a nice stroll along the clifftop yesterday, was planning to do it again today, but the weather has other ideas so a lazy day it is.

Have a good day :D
