Good morning, we’ve woken up to snow! The lawns and roofs are covered but thankfully the paths and roads are too wet for it to have settled, and it’s raining now.
No idea what we’re doing today. Might pop to Stafford later.
Oh my word Jo No sign of snow here, thank goodness
Morning all
Cruiser we've also had the heavy winds here, all night! It's died down a bit now. Usual Sunday here, out for the papers and a cuppa in a while. Mick is giving B a lift to work at the moment - she was out late last night, and he took pity on her I have some holiday ironing to do later, ready for packing
The mist has now gone and we're expecting a lovely, warm day (sorry)
Washing already out and more in the machine. After breakfast, I'll be doing the prep for the bbq later and a bit of pootling outside, probably. Although we want to strim tomorrow, so I might just give the achey back and knees a break. Then again, I might do the spraying of the weeds on the drive. The rain and now the sunshine means they're all coming out to say hello
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
A bbq would be nice Jan but I don't we have the weather for it in the UK atm! Grey and raining here at the moment. No snow but they have had quite a bit on higher ground. Roast chicken for dinner, daughter, son in law and Eliza are coming, as is sister in law. It's nice to have company. Son and his gf might turn up but they were out on the razz last night so probably not. Not much on apart from that. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all after yesterday gales and blue sky it's wet but not raining now no wind either I'm sat eating very burnt toast which I like waiting for the nurse again sigh Hope you all have a good day by for now crommers I used to love family Sunday dinners but everyone is to busy these days such a shame
By gum, it's windy down here this morning! Just been out for the papers and the car was rocking side to side in the gusts.
Waitrose has become "Maitrose" with the W just hanging by a single bolt - someone has been deputed to stand next to it to make sure customers aren't hit on the bonce. And the Co-op has those plastic lidded buckets for the papers outside the shop - someone opened one and managed to grab about 3/4s of his Daily Mail as it rocketed skywards - the rest was last seen heading for Warminster at a hefty rate of knots.
This being the Blackmore Vale, of course, everyone wants to stop and talk about it ….
Morning all, it is bright and breezy here but looks very cold. Today is the day we go to see Keith Urban and I am excited as a teenager He is part of the three day Country 2 Country music festival which is on simultaneously in London, Glasgow and Dublin - judging on the videos I am seeing on Twitter we are in for a great night. There is frost and snow forecast but hopefully we won't get it here as I hate driving in wintry weather. I think I might venture out for a walk around the block while the sun is still shining, before I have my shower. Kellie is appearing in her dance school show today, tickets limited so we probably wouldn't have got to go even if we were not going out.
It started to snow again just after I'd posted this. We've now got bright sunshine and a howling wind. John hasn't gone out on his bike today though so we've been on a long walk with Bill and now I'm about to start making a cottage pie for lunch.
Aww Saundra, it's another of those 'if only you were closer' things - you'd be more than welcome here for Sunday dinner!
