Afternoon all :D

Blimey Jo snow  It's just a bit confused here, started off with gale force winds, now it's sun one minute, rain the next

We have no water, well there is a tiny trickle but not enough to have a shower or do much else with :o The message on Southern Water's website says 'Due to a power cut within the Broadstairs area, we have lost power to our booster station, we are working with UKPN to get power restored as soon as possible and your water supply reinstated.' Goodness knows how long that will take, in the meantime, and as soon as we realised, we did manage to fill the kettle and a couple of saucepans so should be able to prepare dinner later.

You'd be welcome to dinner here too Saundra, we usually have a 'proper' Sunday dinner. Not quite the same as when the children were young and we had a houseful, but we still do a roast and of course finish off with jelly and blancmange as we always did.

Have a good day :D
