Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely morning and going to be a pleasantly warm today, as long as the wind doesn't pick up again.

Hope Mrs E had a good night and the op went well and is soon up and about x

I lost it last night  Next doors dogs had been barking almost non stop, since 7.00 yesterday morning and at 20 to 11 last night, off they went again :cute: :cute: Cue me opening the front door, shouting shut the xxx up and slamming it   It has been very quiet since then   Their outside lights were on, so they must have been out with the dogs.

Today is a day of rest for my back and knees :Hi: Ironing this morning and stew making this afternoon 8-)

Grumpy will be laying more blocks. He refused any help yesterday, shifting the blocks and has enough for today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
Thank you all for your mesages about mrs.e.

Should have had the op yesterday to fit a new hip. When she got to theathre, surgeon said she needed a bigger one and he was not qualified to fit one. So back to the ward.
Have just learnt that she is now on the orthopedic ward so she may be having the op today. She is not realy enjoying her stay and is looking forward to coming home.
Will keep you posted

Morning all :)

Had a good sleep in my own bed  The villa was lovely, but nothing beats your own bed, does ir? ;) Now for the down side of going away - unpacking and doing the washing :P Mick and B are going to collect the dogs shortly, then we need some food shopping :) Harry went back straight from the airport last night, with Chris. It was lovely to spend so much time with my boys 8-)

Ally, have a great day, can't believe it's so close to your parents arriving :D They will enjoy the warmth - I know I did ;)

Jan, I'm not surprised that you lost your temper! I would have too, non-stop barking is totally unacceptable :(

Cruiser, poor Mrs E :( I hope she gets her op very soon. Sending my best wishes xx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Fingers crossed for Mrs E - I really hope the new hip is fitted today and she can come home asap.
Ally, happy Friday - enjoy
Kaz, welcome home and 100% agree about own beds - I love going away but then always look foward to coming home to my furry clan and my own bed.
Jan, don't blame you about the dogs - that's really not acceptable. I don't get how it doesn't bug them when the dogs are barking non-stop. Hopefully the donkeys are behaving?

well Friday today - lunch day; Wagamama today. Haven't had that in absolute ages and I think most people are looking forward to it. Then out to a friends for dinner tonight.

Have a lovely day all

x

Morning all, it is a cloudy day with lots of rain forecast for later. Edward to going to play golf but he could be home early. It’s the gym for me, usual sociable cuppa and chat afterwards, then ironing this afternoon. Poor Mrs.e, did they not know before she went for the op, how annoying. Hope it goes ahead today. No bed like your own, Kaz!

Miss Osc was out for a meal last night to do with the local soccer club, another person there owns the restaurant where they were plus some fishing boats. He gave her a huge bag of prawns fresh off the boat! She arrived here with them this morning to keep in our fridge, SIL and Michael are both allergic. Edward might cook them off for her if he is back early, or else she will cook them at home while SIL and Michael are at soccer later. They will have to be shelled too, that is one tedious job  We will take some, as will SIL’s brother. Right, better get moving.

Morning all.....almost

Dull but dry here.

Poor Mrs.E, hope she gets the operation today Cruiser.
Glad you had a lovely holibobs Kaz.
Gosh Jan, all that barking would have driven me mad, no wonder you lost your temper.

We won't be going anywhere today, my ankle is soooo painful, I can hardly walk. I've taken a cocktail of painkillers and anti inflammatory drugs, hoping if I take it very easy for a couple of days it will ease off.

We'll be glued to the box tonight watching our SIL Mark at 8pm on Channel 4.

Have a good day :D

Ouch Jen  Take it easy xx

The donkeys are no problem Ria 8-) It's the house dogs who bark all day - anything that moves, they'll bark at, even if it's about 3 fields away

But yesterday was much worse than normal, maybe because of the new puppy

I've only heard one of the dogs bark twice so far today 8-)

Ironing done, stew cooked, Grumpy slaving away on the new store - I'm going to sit outside with a book :Hi: :Hi:

Good afternoon all, it's a cloudy and breezy day but at least the washing is drying

I usually take Bill for a quick walk around the estate in the afternoon, his second walk of the day - he has a third and longer one with me and John at night, but now we've had some dry days and the mud has dried up a lot (I can't be doing with cleaning him up three times a day) I've taken him a quick loop of the woods instead so that he can have a proper run off his lead. I think though that if I say quick walk he thinks 'challenge accepted' and gives me the puppy eyes when he gets to the start of paths which will lengthen the walk, hence why we've just been out for another hour

Lovely to hear that your holiday was so enjoyable Kaz xx

Oooh Ria, we love Wagamama here! We usually go to the one by the Royal Festival Hall when we're in London.

Have a good day all!
