Oh yuk. Hope he feels better soon and thanks for letting us know Kaz x

No, it's not hot enough to get in the pool yet, the water hovers between 18C and 20C. And as we have a stiff breeze, much to cold ;)

Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Good news about Mrs.E, hope she makes a good recovery Cruiser.
Have a lovely holibobs Jo, where are you off to?
Hope Crommers gets well soon.

My ankle is still a problem, not as bad as two days ago, but not up to going out. Really frustrating, more anti inflammatories and an easy day for me. Roast chicken for dinner later, strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for afters.

Have a good day :D

We had planned on a bbq this afternoon.

Plan B had to come in - stew

The temperature dropped, we had a thunderstorm and some rain :Hi: :Hi: We're now just on the edge of another thunderstorm and hoping for more rain

It always rains for the pig fair  8-)

Yoo hoo everyone xxx

Glad to hear Crommers has made contact, shame he hasn't been so well though :(

Jen I have made a jelly this past couple of Sundays - thought of you when making it! I popped some fresh peach into the orange jelly last week and used some evaporated milk rather than water....it was gorgeous! This week I made another orange one (limited flavours in LIdl!!) but put a couple of fresh satsumas in and poured the evap over it rather than make it a 'milk' jelly.

I have no oven since Friday! Turned it on to make our tea and it tripped the switch on the fusebox - or at least, something did, when the oven chips were still lukewarm over half an hour later I twigged what had happened. So I had to quickly think of an alternative meal which didn't involved the oven!! Similar yesterday and then today we had a takeaway....fingers crossed it is ONLY the element and the local fixer man can sort that tomorrow!! Atleast the grill still works and I can use the hob which is separate.

Jo where are you off to? Have a great holiday!

Fab day today, if a little windy! We were working in the garden, first cut of the year for the lawns and I 'twistered' the beds, so everything looking good. Quick trip to the seaside for a breath of fresh air and then along to the Marina for a coffee - lovely Sunday!!

Back to normal Monday tomorrow  :(
