Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 28 Mar 2019, 06:47

Good morning.

No more news of dad till this afternoon...Jacob went to see him last night and said he had a bit more colour in him and was more 'with it'.

I've got two classes this morning then I'm going over to see him between 1 and 2.

I'll go back to work for 4 and Don's going to pick mum up and they'll go to see dad tonight between 8 and 9.

Thank you all for the texts, messages and thoughts on here - I'm overwhelmed with the love and support I'm getting from family and friends.

It's mum and dad's 58th wedding anniversary today. God bless them. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine 8-) 8-) and no wind - yet

Happy Anniversary to your mum and dad Ally xx And glad he is looking a bit brighter xx Hopefully he'll be up and about soon and can then feel so much in the sunshine and warmth.

General pootling for us today. I was supposed to see the dentist at 3.00 this afternoon, but that has now been changed to 5.00  So favas for dinner, as we'll have a pit-stop in the bar on the way home.

Continued vibes for Ally's dad, Mrs E and Crommers xx

Hope Jo and John are having a great holiday :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, I hope you get some positive news about your dad today, and wish your mum and dad a happy anniversary ((((((x))))) Thinking of you all xxx

Good luck at the dentist's Jan xxx

((((((Saundra))))))) Hugs for your special day, and your family day yesterday sounds lovely xxx

I hope Mrs E is getting on ok Cruiser xx

Usual Thursday here, so food shopping with D. Mick is not having the best of weeks, because as well as his painful hands - blood tests tomorrow to confirm gout, and he's on steroids :( - he had bad news of a colleague who has been off work with serious illness, and has died suddenly :(

Added to that my friend J's nephew died earlier this week, and I had a tearful phone call from her. It's a terrible thing, he was only 40, with a young family, and his bowel cancer was at first dismissed as piles and IBS, until it was too late :( Bloody cancer :(

Morning, another lovely day. Edward has gone walking to the golf club to hit a few balls. I have plenty to do here before collecting Kellie from school. I want to put on a batch of soup that can be cooking away while I tidy up, I also need to organize a few bits for our London trip on Sunday. This evening Miss Osc and I are going to a beauty event in the salon attached to the gym - I think they are launching some product, but it’s free and there are goody bags 8-) so a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Morning all :D

Dull but dry here.

((((Saundra)))) glad you had a lovely day with Scarlet yesterday xx
Happy Anniversary Ally's mum and dad, hope he continues to improve xx
Hugs for all the poorlies.
Any news about Mrs.E coming home Cruiser?
Good luck at the dentist Jan.

Usual Thursday shopping trip today, M&S and then Tesco. Hoping my ankle holds up, it's still quite sore so we'll see. I've got a casserole in the slow cooker so at least I won't have to worry about dinner when we get back home.

Have a good day :D

hello all - well a busy morning at work so only really getting here now... but it does make the day go faster

Ally, good to hear your dad is steadily improving. In a way the fact that it happened in Spain must be a bit of a relief for everyone as your parents have all of you there to support and help them; and as was said on the other thread, the weather definitely will help your dad feel a bit better once he's back in the apartment. Continuing vibes coming your way
Kaz poor Mick; what a horrid week for him and also for your friend J; sending lots of love to you all as well
Jan, good luck at the dentist. I was thinking about you and those favas yesterday; one of my gardening magazines arrived and it has a pack of broadbean seeds with it - yay! Guess what I'll be sowing tonight when I get home.
Saundra (((hugs)))
Osc enjoy the evening, does sound rather pleasant.
Jen, hope the ankle feels better soon

Well a usual usual for me. Had a lovely dinner out with my friend yesterday; always nice when we meet up because it's an early dinner and early train home :D

Have a lovely day all; ongoing vibes going where they are needed and (((hugs))) to those that need as well xx
