Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 29 Mar 2019, 06:24

Good morning.

Great news on dad!

I went to see him yesterday afternoon and he looked so much better! So much that dad was joking whoever it was that donated the blood he got must have been a 21 year old! I was bursting with happiness at how much he had improved.

Don took mum over last night and were told that if he continues like this there's a possibility he could get out today!

They figure dad, who would be armed with medication and with the promise that he'll keep completely resting for the next few days, would be better off back in the apartment and to be able to recuperate there, rather than being kept in all over the weekend.

He still looked frail but perked up like a lightening bolt at this news.

I'm going over for 1pm today so we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed.

I'll update when I can.

Glad Mre E is home Cruiser.

Have a good day everyone.

Oh Ally, that's brilliant news!! :Hi: :Hi: I logged in hoping things would be better, and they are :) Well done Ally's dad :D The relief shines out of your post Al, and I hope he gets out for the weekend xxx

Good to hear about Mrs E Cruiser :)

Good morning all :) I ache all ovee, after my first Pilates class for three weeks, but I know the stretching will have done me good ;) Mick has taken the day off to use up the last of his holiday days, so we're going out, after he's kept his blood test appointment at 10.30...

It's another stunning Spring day here, all the trees are well into bud, the magnolia that Mick and his dad planted 40 years ago, in the house they lived in just around the corner from here has beautiful flowers on it, there are daffs, tulips, and grape hyacinth everywhere, and I can hear loads of birdsong through my open window as I tap this post 8-) I love Spring 8-) :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Brilliant news Ally :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: That's the best news :D

A lovely morning here, no wind :Hi: :Hi:

We slept in this morning  no idea why

Grumpy off to do more brick laying, I'll be outside later, doing something or other.

Off to Jan's this afternoon, as she needs a carpenter and Grumpy can probably help with it. Only something small, then we'll stop at the bar on the way back. Well, we have to pass it anyway

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, another lovely Spring day here too. Miss Osc and I enjoyed the skincare presentation at the gym last night, the products are Guinot and while I am not going to change from Clinique, there was a rather nice neck cream that we sampled and my neck still felt so smooth when I got this morning. It is expensive though, so I will think about it. However, we both bought a course of four facials....well, it was four for the price of three, it would have been rude not to :cute: It was quite amusing seeing the gym owner who knows us separately making the connection - “are you...is she...?” Gym this morning, then cuppa and chat. I have ironing and other stuff to do this afternoon, so no decision made yet on going dancing tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Great news about your dad Ally, hope he's back in the apartment this afternoon.

The ankle wasn't too bad yesterday, sore but manageable. Would have liked to pop into town today, but have decided not to overdo it, plenty to do here with the washing etc.

Have a good day :D
