Good morning Mothering Sunday.

Postby Ally » 31 Mar 2019, 06:25

Good morning.

After a quick walk I'm going over to visit my folks.

The plan had been to take mum and dad to their favourite market and bring them over to ours for the day but we feel that would be a bit too much for dad at the moment.

So the plan is now for me to go over (I have a bouquet of flowers and some goodies for mum for Mother's Day) and we're going to have breakfast together. :D

Yesterday I was zonked and just relaxed for the day and that's what I'm doing today too. :D

Conor and Jacob are going to nip over to see the GP's  and then come and see us. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine and cloud this morning. Didn't get the promised rain yesterday :( :( but can't see the Algarve hills this morning, and it's rather a grey cloud out there, so keeping everything crossed, we get the rain today ;)

Hope your dad is beginning to feel better Ally x

Welcome back Crommers, hope you had a really relaxing time x

Not doing a lot today, I have a very nasty tooth/gum ache and have been popping the painkillers on a frequent basis the last few days  Will ring the dentist in the morning.

Two roast chickens to be cooked later, that will feed us (and Molly  ) for a few days.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it is rather damp and dreary out there with quite a drop in temperature. I’ve had to revise my choice of coat to wear to London. We are all ready to go so will head off to the airport in a little while. Today is Miss Osc’s Birthday, she is 42  - still my baby girl though ;)

That sounds like a lovely family day Ally. I hope you get your rain Jan. Osc, they are always your little ones aren't they, no matter how old they may be?
A nice morning here, blue skies and a cool breeze.
Our son is coming round in half an hour and MrsC is going to our daughter's this pm.
I shall be watching the footie and the motorbikes later on.
Have a good day everyone.

Well I've had tea and toast in bed, but really must shift myself as D is coming round for lunch later. Harry sent me a lovely card, and no doubt there will be a card from B when she finally gets out of the bathroom, and a call from Chris later :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good afternoon everybody,

We are just relaxing today. Will phone our DIL later as she has sent a card for Mother's day. Mrs.e is not sleeping very well but she does not have any pain.

Can walk up and down stairs one step ata time. She is making good progress considering it is only a wek since the operation.

We have sunshine but a cold wind.

Afternoon all :D

Been up ages, but was delayed by a lovely phone call from Z.

Ouch Jan, that sounds nasty, hope you can see the dentist asap.
Enjoy your family day Ally.
Safe flight Osc.
Glad Mrs.E is doing well Cruiser.

We're having a quiet day, just the two of us. I've had lovely cards and flowers so feel very spoilt. We're having our usual Sunday roast chicken followed by vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly...…..and a bottle of bubbly 8-)

Happy Mothers Day :D
