Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine at the moment. We had a little rain last night, nowhere near enough  and we're supposed to have showers today. Looking at the sky, I'd say not

Pootling this morning, bed stripped and washing done.

Grumpy is to see the lung doctor this afternoon, so we'll do our normal run around Ourique beforehand. Salt for the pool, string to string up more onions and then the supermarket shop.

Will pop into the bar for a beer or three on the way back.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Ally, what is a bonkers day? Enjoy it anyhow. Jan, we could do with some rain. We have had two big fires on the moors in Yorkshire already and it's only April.
Eliza is going to have some injections today, I don't think that she will be a happy bunny!
My hip is giving me some gyp after working in the garden the other day, so I'm taking it steady today.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it was drizzly earlier on but is clearing up nicely now. Edward has gone to play golf and I have more than enough to do around the house.

Morning all :)

I hope Grumpy gets on ok with his appointment, Jan xxx

Wishing the same for Eliza, Crommers - bless her :) xxx

Bit overcast here too Saundra, but set to brighten up! I hope so, as I have a line of sheets and duvet covers out ;) xx

Morning Osc :D xx

Well I'm out in town, just stopped for a breather. Bought Mick a nice collarless short-sleeved shirt in M&S, b3n to the PO to post a parcel, and just about to walk up to see D :) I'll have bedding to iron later, if it manages to dry ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day 8-)

Good luck to Grumpy with his appointment Jan.

Ouch to the injections, hope Eliza isn't too upset. We did a bit of gardening last Wednesday and my hip's played up all weekend. Sensible to have an easy day Crommers.

We're popping into town later, need fresh fruit, veg and a few other bits.

Have a good day :D

Greetings all.... Jan best of luck for Grumpy's appointment and Crommers; good luck also for Eliza; poor little thing - if only they could understand why we do what we do. Lots of cuddles and fusses will be needed.

And then huge apologies for not being in touch the past week; but can I say it was bliss not being anywhere near a computer / technology, not having to wear any glasses to read anything, 10 glorious days of not commuting and just being away from it all. I had a visitor on the Monday and then family over for a BBQ on the Saturday but other than that I was home alone and just totally loved it :D I had an ex colleague who covered for me at work so I knew all would be fine here and it really allowed me to have 10 days of switching off. I got so much done in the garden and at the allotment as well as lots of relax time in the afternoons when it was just too hot to do anything, the weather was beyond amazing - I really struck gold with taking last week off instead of this week. Admittedly I could have done with today off as well so I could do a few more things on the allotment as the forecast for the next few days is rather dire but hey ho... I'll get there.

So here we are, back at work, in front of a computer and back in the land of proper communication vs the few typed words that suffice on FB :D

About to get my lunch and will then have a read through the various posts and catch up with every thing

Have a lovely day all and in case I missed it and they're needed vibes for any poorlies xxx

Good afternoon all, it's bright yet cloudy here if that makes sense and it's very windy.

I've walked Billy, washed a load of towels which dried very quickly and now the bedding off two beds is in the machine, I'd waited for Tom to get up so that I could strip his bed and get the next load washed (he wasn't being lazy, he'd worked until 3am). He's back in work at 5pm, Joe's gone to Dudley Zoo today with Amanda and her family, and she's staying here tonight.

Hope all goes well for Eliza, poor little thing xx

Have a good day all!

Hope Eliza is not feeling too grumpy and the effects wear off quickly.

Himself has been given the all clear for another few months  and will see Dra Ana in November. She had a listen and a feel and is quite happy with him, carry on working she said, otherwise you die    Love the Portuguese sense of humour ;)

Windy old day, keeping the temperature down but we'll be rather warm after Friday, up to 27C - bliss 8-) 8-)
