Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up and about,

Busy day yesterday, shopping, washing and painting the shed. Managed to do two sides.

It is cloudy and cooler than yesterday. More shopping today and then just pottering.

Have a good day everybody

Morning Cruiser, morning Ally.
grey and cool here too.
In a while MrsC and her sister are going to her dad's house, then this afternoon seeing Eliza. she was a little trouper yesterday. The injections made her cry but she wasn't upset for long.
I'm going to take myself off and have a potter round the shops. We had to get rid of the old microwave yesterday (the curse of WM struck!) and we need another.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Ally, how much longer are your mum and dad staying? At least the weather here will be warmer when they get back. Have a lovely time :)

Morning Cruiser :)

Crommers, Eliza's a little trooper! My great niece Poppy took her first steps the other day - she's only 10 months old :o :D

It's cooler here today, but still dry 8-) Meeting a WW friend for a cuppa this morning, no plans after that :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Dull, grey, wet and windy :? Like the wet stuff :Hi: not the cold and windy stuff.

Good morning, it is dull out there but seems to be mild enough. I am getting my eyebrows tinted at 11.00, then it’s the gym. Into the cafe afterwards, no doubt, followed by the supermarket shop this afternoon.

Morning all

Jan, your weather has two months to sort itself out! :D :D :D It cannot rain when we are there; please!!! :D
Osc, Cruiser, Crommers and Kaz, enjoy your pottering about days and hope the shopping expeditions are successful
Ally have a fab time with the parents; how is dad doing?

A much duller day today; and the forecast is not looking promising. But then we need the rain; it's all very very dry at the moment. As long as it is nice and sunny and warm on the 4th May then I'll be happy; my nephew Thomas will be celebrating his 16th birthday that day and we're having a family and friends BBQ.

And on a different note; a very successful morning for me today - I've been trying to trap a stray cat for a week or so now; I got a trap from the local cats protection but the cat managed to get out just as it was closing; it just wasn't long enough. I then got a longer trap and this morning was the first morning I could actually set it (vets were closed for Easter break and I don't have anywhere to keep him) and success first time - yay! Poor boy is in a very very sorry state and my heart breaks but at least now he's at the vet and will get the care he needs. And the sad / frustrating thing is; I know who he belongs (belonged) to but when I asked them they denied having a cat; makes me so so mad. I've had additional confirmations that they are the owners so I know they are lying. But now this boy will hopefully be able to look forward to a better life than he's had so far (provided he's not microchipped). Some people really shouldn't have animals and the concern is this particular family now have 2 small dogs as well and depending on what the vet reports back I may well involve the RSPCA

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're doing

Morning all :D

Quite bright, but not as warm and sunny as it's been for the last few days. Think we're in for a few days of rain, such a shame, was hoping the weather would be nice for Hannah's visit this Friday. Goodness knows what we'll find for her and the two little ones to do if it rains for the 3 days they're here. There's a soft play area in the garden centre, but not sure what else we'll find for them.

We'll be out shopping tomorrow so today's plan is to whizz round and give the house a good going over ready for the invasion on Friday.

Have a good day :D
