Good morning rainy Thursday

Postby cromwell » 25 Apr 2019, 07:44

The gardens need it, so it's all good.
Morning! Today holds father in law wrangling and a bit of baby sitting. Also a spot of food shopping in the middle.
We had rain yesterday and again this morning.

Good morning cromwell,

We also have had rain but the sun is now shining.
A stay at home day with housework and on the computer.
Have got a new phone and will be trying to get to know how to operate it. All these apps and other things are a bit confusing at the moment.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Crommers, Cruiser and everyone

Clouds and sun this morning, so far, quite mild and showers are forecast.

Happy Freedom/Liberation Day :Hi: :Hi: 1974 and the army overthrew the dictator Salazar, using red carnations. Some people still prefer the old regime

Cooked breakfast for us, as a treat :Hi:

General pootling, inside. The ground is saturated after all the rain yesterday, but it's high 20's from Saturday :Hi: :Hi:

I'll male the curry for Saturday later and do prep for tonights stir-fry. Will be going down to the bar later and Odette very kindly will have got some rolls for me - well, if she remembers ;)

How's Mrs E doing Cruiser?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It is rainy here too, and we are taking Michael and Kellie to the cinema, Wonder Park it is called, we thought about Dumbo but it is almost two hours long which might be a bit much for Kellie. I’ve packed them each a little snack pack with popcorn, sweets and fruit rather than pay cinema prices. The film is at 12.30, then home here for their dinner.

Morning all :D

Rain on/off here, hoping it clears by the time we go out.

Weekly shopping day for us, M&S and then Tesco. Supposed to go to an Ingeus session tonight, will phone to cancel, the subject matter this week is stuff I've already covered. Will probably go next week.

Have a good day :D

Morning all, it's dull and breezy here but we haven't had any rain so far today but it's looking a bit grey now.

Bill had his walk earlier and I'll keep an eye on the weather and try to get him out some time this afternoon seeing as we're food shopping tonight and he'll miss his evening walk.

We've got some work to do in the spare room this weekend. I was thinking on Tuesday that it'd be better to have a proper bed in there now that Shannon and Amanda stay so often as both lads have singles in their rooms, and then on Tuesday night John happened to say that he thought it'd be a good idea to get a proper bed for in there! There's a sofa bed and it's a decent one which folds out with legs, bed slats and a mattress so it's pretty comfortable but it's not as if anyone goes in there and sits on it when it's back to being a sofa. Off we went to Ikea last night and came back with a double bed and mattress. We'll need to change a bit of furniture around though before we put it in there and I can't do that myself as there are some tall wooden shelf units that are fixed to the wall.

Hope Mrs E is doing well Cruiser!

Have a good day all!

Saundra, Dumbo's been remade - it looks like it'll be lovely!

I'm hoping that I can persuade John to come and see Toy Story 4 with me when it's released in the Summer; we don't have the excuse of having young kids anymore

Greetings all

Dare I say, I think we could do with some of the rain; it's been really dry again and where I live the soil is very very sandy so no water retention at all - we've not have near as much rain as was forecast. As long as I have 1/2 a dry day this weekend then I'll be very happy

A lovely usual / usual for me today - bliss :D

Hope you've all had a lovely morning so far and have a good rest of day xx
