Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 26 Apr 2019, 05:42

Good morning.

I forgot to 'VV' yesterday.

Absolutely gorgeous here. 8-) 8-)

A walk, a swim then off for my monthly haircut. :D

Nail painting, homework club then meeting Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas.

Jacob's going over to visit his grandparents today and they're taking him out for lunch. Conor & Lucia are going over tomorrow and we're going over Sunday...they certainly get lots of attention!

Have a great day everyone. x

Morning Ally, morning everyone

At last, we have our warmer weather back - lovely morning and getting warmer by the day now :Hi: :Hi:

I'll be out in the garden, cutting things back and generally having a bit of a tidy after all the rain. Grumpy will be rendering and we also have to salt the pool.

Making a pie for dinner, for a change from the normal Friday pasta.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, and everyone :)

Your plans sound good Ally, and I'm sure your parents are loving the attention :) xxx

Jan it's lovely here at the moment, but it's going to rain later - all week we've had gorgeous sunshine first thing, then same in the late afternoon and evenings, but torrential downpours over the middle part of the day  So it's raincoat and boots again for going out

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Saundra :) I rarely use my laptop these days, but fire it up every so often just to keep it working, and it feels really odd when I do! I think I've got so used to tapping here on my kindle, and my phone, that I'm forgetting how to type   xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, keeping fingers tightly crossed it lasts.

Much as I love my phone, tablet etc, much prefer using the desktop. Having been a PA in my working life, I find it much easier and quicker to type on a proper keyboard, also love the big screen.

We're up extra early getting ready for the invasion. Just realised we don't have any tea bags (nasty stuff lol) so E will have to pop round to the paper shop again shortly.

Have a good day :D

Morning all. Food shopping today and maybe a quick tidy in the garden.
It's a lovely morning here sunny but a little chilly. It's still April after all.
I bet your parent love seeing the kids Ally.
Stand by Jen!
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all - please may I have some vibes for SIL. Miss Osc phoned about 8.25 to say he has terrible pain, and could I bring the children to the childminder as the doctor said she would see him. By the time I left the house 8 minutes later, she had called an ambulance  When I got there, he was roaring with pain, seems to be lower abdomen/groin area. The children were very good, getting themselves dressed and had had breakfast. I brought them to J, she is the childminder and like another granny to them. Miss Osc had told her what was happening. The ambulance arrived about 9.20 apparently, so we shall see what happens.

It rained heavily overnight, stopped now and it seems to be brightening up a bit. I’ll go to the gym as usual and keep my phone near, and we’ll go with whatever needs doing later in the day. Need to have my shower now and tidy around the house.
